“Very beautiful 100 year old house, with period furnishings. It is very clean and the hostess was nice and helpful. It is walking distance to the town of Barre which has several dining options and nice downtown. The breakfast was excellent, made with local produce and ingredients. It is a great location as a base to visit different places in Vermont.”

“Breakfast was great. And the hotel looks like it was great in its time. They appear to be painting and repairing the facility but they aren’t moving very fast. Our bed was worn out and I wouldn’t have been able to stay a fourth night. I hurt so bad after sleeping on that bed. We were there 3 nights and the four daytime days there was never any activity on the front porch as far as construction but it was blocked off for repairs. The whole town was a disappointment as far as being kept up. And……

“Very clean and well stocked rooms. You can get extra towels for the pool. Plenty of parking and staff is always welcoming and helpful. We have stayed there many times and love the rooms with kitchen and separate bedroom and pet friendly!”

“This hotel it a hidden gem. The breakfast was way better than I expected it to be. It had everything waffles bagels donuts fruit. String cheese. Was overwhelmed deciding what to pick. Air-conditioning worked well. No issue checking in Early around 1:00 pm to get to the gate at Do Good Fest for 1:30 pm when the gate opened. East to get in after the concert. Everything was excellent clean. Plenty of towels soap etc. even had spectrum internet. Only 15 minutes from National life group by. Car.……

“We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient.”

“The Inn is a lovely spot for a quiet and relaxing break. Tech free! So don't plan on watching a world cup game on your room TV! One thing not mentioned in the reviews is that they have these cool stave puzzles you can put together in one of the sitting rooms. When planning your trip, try to arrange it for W-S when their restaurant is open. The breakfast is served every day, and lived up to its reputation. The staff are unusually friendly and helpful! Love that they serve afternoon tea and……
