I checked in with a short lady who was rude, unfriendly and not welcoming. When I approached the counter I smiled and said hello and the agent (short lady in her fifties maybe) gave a curt "yes" without looking up. I advised that we were checking in. The entire interaction was cold and unfriendly, finally she asked if I had a car, and I said yes, she said "Where are you going to park it after today?" I booked the "Best Western AIRPORT Hotel" with free parking and AIRPORT shuttle for a reason. She said that they were overbooked during March break and because I had booked through expedia, I was not able to leave my car at the hotel more than one night???? WHAT! Anyway, I got the kids settled in to the room and then went back to speak to the manager about the check in experience and misleading booking information. She said that most people sho stay have to pay for parking, so I offered to pay for parking if it was not included and finally she agreed that I could leave my car and we were then offered shuttle information. The attitude of the first agent set the tone and I will never stay at this hotel again, even though the manager rectified the issues.
