In transit

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Had the feel of a clean and efficient hotel - all that i wanted or needed
Location: Not applicable - an "in and out" stay
We arrived at the airport 2.5 hours later than programmed - I called the hotel and within 15 was picked up and went to the hotel. Staff were all pleasant and polite and check-in quick and effective. Despite a late arrival coupled with an early start, the night was comfortable. Transport again in the morning directly to the departure area quickly.

Nice hotel close to the airport

Posted Aug 26, 2015
I had a great experience with this hotel. The service was very good, the rooms were very well maintained, the beds were super comfortable. One thing they could improve on is having more of a variety of food at the breakfast. Overall a very good stay!

Great shuttle service

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Safe
Cons: Curtains let bright light in from spotlights outside.
Location: Restaurant on site, Michele's, was very good. An Irish pub, and Tim Horton's nearby. One could take a long walk safely along the sidewalk.
Staff was both professional and personal. When you called for a shuttle they gave explicit directions about where to wait and whom to look for, and they arrived promptly. For the ride back to the airport, they were prompt, as well.

Very good stay.

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Pick up service and the cleanliness of the room
Location: Close to the airport and a few restaurants walking distance
Our pick up from the airport was within 15 minutes of calling and checking in was good. We visited the Square One mall which was about 20 minutes by bus. The bus is a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. The rooms were clean, service was good and the breakfast was good. Would stay again.

Nice but needs improvement

The AC was not that strong , took 4 hours just to cool a single bed room. TV channels weren't that much uptodate , staff was very friendly.

Good for the airport

Posted Aug 19, 2015
Pros: Quiet rooms
Cons: More selection / catering facilities.
Location: Not a lot to do nearby, although a couple of restaurants.
A 2 night stay before flying home was made very pleasant by staying at this hotel. Unlike other 'airport' hotels, this one is actually close to the airport and not that distant from public transport links to Square One and Toronto. A little 'isolated' as there are not many dining options nearby - the Italian restaurant next door, a coffee shop and an Irish pub is about it - but a nice hotel. The only issue I had was with my room being assigned to someone else on my second night, which resulted in someone trying to get into my room at around 9.30pm. This was dealt with, but it flags a serious problem with the room assignment programme. The manager (or at least I think he was) was great - I didn't get his name, but he kindly picked me up from the airport twice (I got off at the wrong stop on one bus, got on another to the airport and was collected very swiftly) - and staff were very pleasant. A good hotel, especially if you are not intending to do major sightseeing in Toronto GTA.

Great Hotel, Mediocre Breakfast

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Clean and relatively inexpensive considering what you get.
Cons: Breakfast was the same every day. No directions or measuring cup on waffle maker made for chaos.
Location: Stayed here for 3 days during Caribana festival. Easy ride to downtown.
Near Centennial Park. No airport noise. Restaurants close by. Easy on off highway. Friendly helpful staff.

Hotel Stay Aug, 10th-Aug. 15th, 2015

Posted Aug 16, 2015
Pros: I liked the location based upon vacinity to the Rogers Cup Tennis Tournament,
Cons: More variety with breakfast (e.g., alternate scrambled eggs with hard boiled eggs. Alternate bacon with sausage links etc.
Location: Location means everything. The location is near good food resturants. Easy to get onto the 401 West or East etc.
We enjoyed our stay while visiting Toronto. The staff was wonderful. They were very helpful, pleasant, and nice. My only criticism had to do with the complimentary breakfast. It would have been nice to have a change in the eggs from hard boiled everyday to scrambled along wit bacon. Otherwise, the staff that was available to assist during breakfast was very curteous, and assisted at every turn.

Excellent hotel , service, and very friendly staf

Posted Aug 11, 2015
Pros: clean, quite, friendly staff, kind people, great amenities
Cons: the bus stops weren't available for a better connections to the city subway, due to constructions along the road.
Location: good location, lot's of shopping piazzas near by, but limited access to shops because of the constructions closures across the road.
everything was great, the room was clean, comfortable bed; nice staff, good food.
