A very Busy hotelPosted Aug 29, 2015
Pros: It was bright and active and comfortable
Cons: The "traffic" pattern through the lobby was a bit hard to navigate when there was literally so much going on it was hard to get through.
Location: Centrally located in downtown Toronto with a number of restaurants and shops nearby and a subway station about a block and a half away.
The lobby of the hotel was non-stop busy. So much activity; popcorn and fun.. and a robot talking to the kids. It's a large hotel and there was constant activity. There is a few restaurants in the hotel along with many as you walk out the door. Very centrally located with easy access to a lot of surrounding activity. The room was nice.. bathroom was average sized. It was a nice visit and everyone was very nice.

Best hotel for its category in downtown torontoPosted Aug 28, 2015
Busy during high season but well organized and adequately staffed . Great location. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the room rates were reasonable. The only issue I had were the dirty glass doors leading out to open balcony. I would stay there again .

Central locationPosted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Central location
Cons: Have coffee machines in each room
Location: It is centrally located within walking distance to city hall, Sick Kids hospital, Rogers Centre and shopping at Eaton Centre
This hotel is centrally located with Yonge Street, Bay, Elm and Gerrard just outside the door. Excellent restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance as well as city hall, theatres, Rogers Centre and Eaton Centre. There is local transit available also. The room was clean and comfortable, however, a coffee machine would be a nice amenity to have. This is a very busy hotel and elevators are designated to specific floors which is a real plus. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely do so again.

Great locationPosted Aug 27, 2015
Needs renovations. Balcony was a plus but not much of a view. Bed wasn't that comfortable.

Nice and clean hotel very conveniently located:Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Room was quiet and bathroom well appointed - toiletries were plentiful and the sheets and towels of a good quality. Nice self serve lobby restaurant.
Cons: Improved communications in the lobby among the staff! The hotel printer not working when I tried to access boarding pass - very little help provided
Location: Close to the subway, shopping, restaurants and theatres.
I have stayed here before but unfortunately the weekend of August 21st to 23rd was very busy. I had asked for an early check-in (1PM) but that was not available. This I could understand so I left my bags with the staff and returned at 3:30PM to register. At this point I am advised that the room was not ready and may take an hour to prepare but that was no guarantee! I was also told by the front desk attendant that since she was not in charge of room cleaning she couldn't possibly give me a firmer time. I was to come by every half hour and inquire! This would involve barging ahead of a very long line up. After about 15 minutes I approached the concierge desk where I received no assistance at all (I gather that they don't communicate with the registration desk) - at this point I sat in a chair directly across from the registration desk (the first person I spoke to) and waited there a full 45 minutes but was never able to make eye contact with her. Finally I walked over, she smiled and handed me a keycard. I wonder how much longer I would have waited or how long had the room been ready. I arrive at the room and much to my dismay the room is in disarray - a very pleasant cleaning lady apologizes and explains that there was an error made and that my room would take another 20 minutes. Back to the lobby where I am now upgraded to a bigger room without additional charge. Though I appreciate this it hardly makes up for the time I wasted and the frustration I experienced.
