It was a pleasant property, well located. We parked our car in the Green P lot across the street and saved on the hotel parking.

Great hotel in downtown Toronto

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Everything was great. The room, the amenities, staff, etc.
Cons: Just cosmetic touches such as the curtains, some of the lamps, bathroom, etc. nothing really major.
Location: Location was ideal. There were so many restaurants, vintage shops, general stores, cafes, and much much more.
Didn't realize how far the hotel was from the Toronto Pearson airport, but it was definitely worth it!!! My partner and I were in the middle of downtown, and I must say coming from the New York area, it was a great experience. During the day wasn't too busy and noisy and at night it was quiet. The hotel itself had a lot of amenities like a jacuzzi especially useful after a full day of walking around the city. The staff was friendly and pleasant especially the night manager on duty Trisha (I'm not sure about the spelling), but she was great, always smiling. The price of the nightly rates and flights were also reasonable, and I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is located in the hub of downtown, Toronto. The geographical location is perfect. It is convenient for clients to go out via either subway or tram.

Good location

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Staff! Location!
Cons: The facility is somewhat dated.
Location: Eaton's center and Elgin theater.
A nice hotel with wonderful friendly staff. The gym is clean and up to date. The pool was a little warm. The location is great because it is right off Yonge close to Dundas which makes walking to theaters easy.

Only Stay if the Price is Good

Posted Aug 22, 2015
It's an old hotel with lots of flaws. The rooms look like they are from the 70s. The check in staff are full of excuses, so don't even try to upgrade unless you are prepared for 15 minute debate and to pay more. In the hotel room, the ceiling is all cracked. The water pressure is unpredictable and the carpets are old, tired and unwelcoming. The cleaning staff is super friendly and they do an amazing job. The tiny pool is often overcrowded with kids, and the gym is tiny and the gym floors are uneven. Location is great if you want to be close to the city, but away from the core. Queen's Park is only a 10 minute walk away, which is nice. The photos do not represent anything close to what the actual hotel looks like. If you get a good price, you don't feel ripped off. Otherwise, spend a few dollars more and get a more modern room which you want to come back to at the end of each day.
