Close to Toronto airport
Posted Oct 3, 2016
We had an overnight layover in Toronto, so we picked this hotel because of its proximity. We thought it was further than it was, so we caught a cab and that cost us 20 Canadian!! For a 5 minute ride. So, if you have heavy luggage (like we did), call the hotel shuttle or catch an Uber.
Local food delivery to the hotel is expensive, so choose wisely. Our food cost quite a bit and wasn't good.
When we checked out in the morning, there was no one there. We were early for the shuttle, but it had already left, so we had to wait for the next one and were a little late checking in for our flight.
Note that the continental breakfast is not free with the room! I wanted oatmeal and toast and it was going to be 12 Canadian. It seems that such a pricey hotel can provide you a free dollar or two worth of food in the morning. At least a piece of fruit. After returning from a tour of England, where every room had biscuits, and usually also fruit, along with the tea service, it was a disappointment to see less service from a hotel that cost twice as much as anywhere we stayed in the UK.
I hope never to have to fly through Toronto again, but if I do, I'm going to look for a cheaper hotel with better service.
If you just want a comfortable bed and are willing to shell out the cash, this one's okay.

Thanks for your review. We are sorry to hear that the shuttle had left ahead of time at the time of your check-out. This extremely concerns us as our drivers are supposed to be following a schedule. We are also concerned that there was no representative at the time of your departure. We will be sure to look into this.
Thank you again for your feedback.
