Horrible disgusting hole in the wall dump

Posted Aug 5, 2015
Pros: The only redeeming thing about this place was it was only a 20 minute drive to downtown Toronto.
Cons: everything about this knights inn needs to be improved.
Location: 20 minute drive from downtown Toronto. Few restaurants in the area.
This motel is disgusting. From the stench that hits you when you open your room door onwards it was a nightmare. Carpeting had huge dark stains, walls splattered with red and brown stains. Walking into the bathroom and see large hole cut out of the ceiling above the shower and the filth on the counter and mirrors. Back into the main room ...tiny... And look at the stained tabletops and the small bugs crawling over them. Blankets were dirty. After an hour the air conditioning stops working. Free wifi? Never did work. Knock on door during afternoon asking why I was still there after all I should be checked out even though I had booked 2 nights (much to my horror) Stay far away from this place.

Not very clean, far from Downtown

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: The hotel staff... nothing else.
Cons: Complete overhaul plus cleanliness
Location: Near Toronto Zoo but is not worth it, choose a hotel closer to downtown and move to the Zoo just one day.
If you need to be near downtown for business or just want to be for pleasure don't go here is too far, It has a bus stop at meters from the hotel entrance but getting there takes a long time. The hotel staff was helpful and nice but that doesn't compensate the fact that the hotel is not very clean and the facilities are old, room cleaning left a lot to be desired and the hotel in general is very worn-out and they are not very concerned about cleaning. Plus the area near the hotel is not very nice also, nothing happened to us, but it doesn't feel very safe.

Cons: The shower was full of hair, the sink area still had toothpaste and whatever! The shower curtains were like the shower and sink. We slept and left!!!
I would not go there unless it was the only place left in Toronto Area. .

Pros: The two people who served us at the desk were very nice people. unfortunately they worked for the wrong hotel.
Cons: the place needs a total renovation. they need to train the cleaning staff and check on them to make sure they are working up to proper standards.
the place was filthy. there were dead bugs and large stains on the carpets. it had not been vacuumed in what looked like several weeks. there was visible dust on all the furniture. there were dust balls in the corners mixed with more dead bugs. the window sills were full of dead flies and black soot-like spots. one of the two beds was missing a leg, so when you sat or laid on it, it tipped over and you would fall to the floor. even the outside of the building was in bad repair and the side walks had not been swept and half the rooms did not have numbers on the doors. we had to guess which door was our room. many of the balconies looked as if they were unsafe and the concrete was crumbling. however, the man at the desk was very accommodating and offered to reduce the price. we chose to go elsewhere and he kindly returned our money, even offering to carry our luggage if necessary. we have stayed in Knights Inns in the past and had always been pleased with the accommodations. that is why we decided to book there in the first place. we were very disappointed.

Chambre mal préparée et sale

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Heureusement on s'était acheté quelques trucs. On a constamment gardé nos gougounes pour se déplacer car les tapis sont très sales. Ben on s'est dit qu'on a fait du camping !
