Great location and ok price. The rooms seemed good quality but some of the interior is damaged (elevator, wall paneling, desk light) / dated (eg bathrooms). My room was a bit smelly du to someone cooking their dinner in a neighboring unit.

Property was so cool! Used to be a bank. Vault was still in the lower level. Fancy lobby was on the second floor as event space. Our suite was great!

Had an amazing stay here. The service was amazing and they met all my needs. The staff were extremely friendly and it made my stay 10x more better. Also, there’s such a homey vibe to this hotel like their hotel rooms make you feel like you never left home so I enjoyed that aspect of my stay as well.

This hotel was well appointed and the front desk team was very friendly and welcoming. My room looked just like the pictures online and the view was pretty. It was like I had a fancy studio apartment but with a good size amount of room for living space and for sleeping. The only minor issue was that one of the tvs wasn’t working properly but they were on it immediately once I notified them and fixed it while I was out attending the conference I was in town for. The coffee shop at the hotel was cute and the staff was very nice in there too. The scones were tasty and my go to while I was there. I didn’t get to eat dinner there but the bar area was populated every night I came back after the conference so i was sad to not get to hang there like I would have liked! I would highly recommend this hotel especially if you are in town for a conference as it is a short Uber ride or decent walk to the Westin or short car ride to the convention center. If I am ever in Toronto again I would definitely stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay. You do NOT need a vehicle whatsoever with this hotel. Everything is walkable or accessible via train or street cart. Staff was amazing. Food was great. Rooms were very spacious with a kitchen. No complaints at all.

Great location, friendly staff. The only issue I would bring up is the limited valet parking. In fact, on arrival, I was the one conducting traffic in order to valet our vehicle as the line backed up and the valet attendant at the time introduced themself before completely abandoning their post. It was an uncomfortable first impression of the property.

Checked in super late and the man who helped me at the desk was very kind. The rates for this place are extremely good/appropriate if booking last minute. For my stay, I was very impressed. Very nice building.

While the bed was comfortable, we found the room itself not very sound proof - we heard the doors of our neighbours VERY clearly, as well as either laundry or gym equipment being used above us. It absolutely took away from the experience and quality of sleep we were able to get. I don’t think we will stay here again if presented with the option.

Overall the stay was fine, but the bed for our room was advertised as a king size and it was actually what they called a “California king” which is several inches less wide than an actual king bed. They don’t have any actual king beds here. The rooms were clean and quiet but we would have stayed elsewhere so the 3 of us had room to fit in the bed.

The location of One King West is perfect, easy to access transportation, dining, drugstore, coffee. The main area smelled amazing and felt great walking in. My only complaint is upon arrival they encouraged us to upgrade our room - with 2 kids, 2 adults for $80 we decided why not. Our room ended up not providing the same feeling as we felt on entering the hotel. Not a big deal but she told us the upgrade was a king size bed and it definitely was not. The bathroom was a small little cube as well. The main bothersome things were there was a leak in the floor so every time we walked toward the kitchenette our socks got soaked. You couldn’t see that the carpet was soaked. We figure it was water but really who knows… and we only had so many socks… it was mainly just frustrating. We let front desk know but they were unconcerned. The other two minor issues were we wash ourselves everyday at least twice…we arrived to 2 facecloths for 4 guests and asking for more was never an issue except every time we asked for 4 more they arrived with 2 which was just annoying. I would’ve brought my own towels if I knew they were going to be scarce, Honestly I just like to be private during my stay and expect everything to be provided and not have to ask. The dining experience downstairs was delicious with a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend the pizza and the butter chicken and calamari was good too! Service was good there as well.
