Wonderful place to stay in Downtown Toronto

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: Location and convenience
Cons: Nothing as far as I am concerned
Location: We liked the Green Market nearby as well as an Italian Restaurant that makes their own pasta by the name of Vagabondo.
We came for 6 nights and that many days for a family wedding. We loved it in this hotel. It is beautifully located and a walking distance from every possible tourist attraction including the shopping and the Green market. The rooms are spacious, well furnished, not too much not too little, the bathrooms are up to date, can't say enough. The staff everywhere, from the reception through the downstairs bar and above people that take care of your room, are friendly, kind and professional. We will definitely stay here again.

Great hotel close to everything

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Room service menu was good and served throughout the night for those late night munchies.
Location: Centrally located in Toronto with plenty of bars and restaurants, as well as shopping.
Was pleasently surprised with the hotel for the cost per night of the room. Great lobby area, room service and a very spacious room.

Well located luxury hotel

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: We liked everything about the hotel as stated above. Well located and very well furnished and above all clean.
Cons: A bigger soap dish and ledge for more comfort in shaving legs. Soap and toiletries slide through dish slats onto shower floor which is annoying.
Location: Extremely well located to shopping, restaurants, theatre, Billy Bishop airport. Good walking hotel to explore city or close to subway for farther afi
A very nice, clean and elegantly furnished hotel close to restaurants, shopping, theater and only a block from the subway. Perfect if you like older historic hotels and this one is in good condition. The room was very spacious and elegantly and comfortably furnished with a really nice bathroom. Our room location was very quiet which we requested. The halls were wide and clean looking unlike a lot of hotels. The carpet throughout was clean without visible staining and no scuff marks on walls, etc. The elevator area was very nice with six elevators and in four days we didn't have to wait once. A fresh historic hotel. The desk, concierge, restaurant, housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful.

Nice location

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: close to points of interest
Cons: bar food choice, excessive noise levels.
Location: 10 minutes to cn tower, eaton centre etc.
Very clean and impressive hotel close to everything interesting. Found our room to be very noisy, lots of noise on the floor above it, and internally with both the air con and refridgerator making excessive noise. Breakfast buffet is very nice and service is attentive, prices not too bad for what you get. Found bar food to be expensive and quite bland, choice not great either. Only tried it once but there is more than enough locally to keep you happy.

One of the finest hotels I have ever stayed in!

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Location: Easy access to all transportation and tour bus. Many restaurants located within easy walk of hotel.
Everything was perfect. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the room we had was exceptional. Location of hotel was fantastic though parking rates are a bit high. Would definitely stay here again. Great value for rate paid.

We had wonderful stay at this hotel. This place is located very convenient area. The staff at this hotel was amazing. Will be back for sure someday.

King Eddy

Posted Aug 17, 2015
Pros: Huge rooms.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Plenty of restaurants near-by for both couples (Keg) and families (Old Spaggetti Factory). Walking distance to ROM, Second City, Young Street etc...
This is a well established hotel with old charm. Fully renovated, and very well done. Great location.

King Eddy is near the subway.

Posted Aug 15, 2015
Pros: It has class and a connection to the past.
Cons: The bill had too many extra charges listed that I was told are City taxes.
Location: King Eddy is within walking distance to Union Station and the subway is about 1 block away...... to take you where you want to go.
I was in town for only 3 days and 2 night but managed 2 business calls as well as visiting the ROM and the AGO.
