A great place to stay.

Location: The location was perfect for us and there was lot of things to do nearby that were within walking distance...that was a definite plus.
The staff was so friendly and helped a lot planning our day...right down to a list of restaurants in the area and directions for shopping.

Excellent location, staff so friendly!! Very clean hotel and comfy beds. Good location for walking around downtown to stores and restaurants. Also very close to subway station. I would definatey stay here again!

Pros: It was close to the subway station.
Cons: Rid the rooms of bed bugs.
The hotel itself was in a good location as far as downtown and near the subway station. However, our particular room had BED BUGS! Though the staff graciously washed our belongings, they did not compensate for our discomfort of being bitten and the fear of bringing them back home with them. The only thing they offered is breakfast and a ride to the hotel. I can honestly say that I would never stay at this Marriot again.

Good Hotel - nice location, close to transit

Pros: Good location, close to subway, shopping & restaurants
Cons: Provide WiFi for free, maintenance to bathtub (did not drain), provide four bath towels when two people staying in room (King Size Room)
Location: Shopping, close to subway, lots of restaurants close by, easy to get downtown
Hotel staff was very pleasant. Room was very nice. Bathtub did not drain. Why when two in a room, they only give 3 bath towels and 1 bathrobe. Charges for WiFi per day & most family oriented hotels (i.e. Days Inn, Super 8) do not charge for this.

Pros: Great location steps from shopping, subway, restaurant, supermarket. Good housekeeping.
Cons: Water and sewage system needs to be inspected. Improve sound insulation Eliminate bad odor. Audit bell staffs over potential integrity issue
Location: Close to shopping, museums, yorkville.
Great location right above the subway and close to Yorkville shops and restaurants. Bad sour smell in the room, water doesn't drain in the bathtub, low water pressure from the shower head, door doesn't insulate sound from the hallway, not enough towel rack. The water from the bathtub faucet had this odd blue tint, not sure what it was, or if it could pose a health risk. Also, beware when asking for a taxi from the bell staff. We asked for a taxi to Pearson but instead they got us a sedan limo that drove badly, overcharged and did not give back the 5 dollars change even when we did not instruct him to keep it. Not a big deal but it did raise a question about the integrity of the hotel staff who got us this limo and the driver.
