Do. Not. Go.

It's a hotel in the sense that it's a place to sleep. We were lured there by an apparently great deal, which was needed for a budget conscious pair on our honeymoon. If the booking was refundable, we would have left.
The first thing we noticed was the distance. We took the TTC, which ended up being an hour from Union Station. When we got there, we didn't even realize we were at the hotel and had to Google it to confirm. Once we got in, we noticed a bleach smell. Maybe they had just cleaned the place, we reasoned. Check-in went smoothly for us, and they allowed us to check-in early, although we were informed that we had to come to them if we wanted ice, as the ice machine was broken.
As we went to our room, the bleach smell got worse. We got used to it, but we got changed and left as soon as we could. We did bump into a nice cleaning lady who gave us towels she had forgotten to put in earlier, and warned us of a sticky lamp.
The towels went unused, as the bottom of the tub was black. We did a check for bedbugs and cockroaches, and we didn't see any, but we washed our clothes immediately after getting home. The suitcase is outside.
We had a working TV. There seems to be a divide between the nicer part, and the more ruined part. While we saw signs of repair, the whole place needs to be gutted and rebuilt.
They let us check-out early, which we did. Do not go there! Spend the extra money on another hotel.
