Nice hotel free wifi free parking near del amo

Everytime I go to Torrance is the only hotel I want to go. Friendly staff, room comfortable & clean. Free parking Free wifi and laundry 24h/24 !! The important points for me :)

great staff made us feel welcome

the staff made it work for us...if you have staff that is happy with their jobs it makes a big difference in how you are received and how you feel! the staff here was friendly and helpful!!! the room was what we expected! overall we are very happy with our experience at extended stay america, torrance!

hotel hell

Pros: Abigail nothing!
Cons: Everything!
Location: Was good, close to the ocean.
We would never stay at Extended Stay again. It was dirty ad smelled. The bed was like sleeping on bricks. The service was not great, the carpet was gross! There so called continental breakfast was bad. What more do I need to say. I think this hotel needs to contact Gordon Ramsey for his show Hotel Hell for a makeover.

Never again.

The hotel tried to charge me for the room that was already paid for through hotels.com. Apparently there was a discrepancy between the amount that hotels.com was authorizing and how much the hotel was charging for, so the check-in process was a nightmare. I had to sit there on the phone on hold with hotels.com costumer service, while they called the hotel's front desk to figure everything out. I was standing at the front desk for at least half an hour. I reserved a non-smoking room, but they sold all of them so I was stuck in a smoking room on the smoking floor, which of course reaked of cigarette smoke. The wood floors in the room were sticky, so I had to pour water on the floor and mop it up with a towel just to walk on it. This stay was a nightmare.

Rude people

They were really rude to us. We are in a band and touring and they gave us bad customer service due to what we looked like. Never staying there again

Good basic hotel for more of an apartment feel

Location: Great, safe location close to shopping etc.
Very basic but nice. Clean, simple, no frills. No pool, no gym, etc. but nice rooms with kitchen. No coffee maker available which was annoying, had to go to the lobby for coffee. Staff was ambivalent but helpful. No daily housekeeping which we liked, no maids knocking on the door every day.

Disappointed

Our check-in took quite a while as we waited for the only staff member to check us in and answer the phone. She spent a lot of time with the individual on the line as we patiently waited. We were given a room with a sofa bed that did not work and we asked for a non-smoking room. The room smelled of cigarette smoke since most of the rooms on the third floor were smoking rooms. The spout in the tub was leaking therefore we slept with the bathroom door closed so we wouldn't hear it at night. I would not recommend this hotel and would not consider staying here again.

Acceptable But Don't Have High Expectations

Older hotel-lacking amenities for an Extended Stay. Room was clean, location was good. If you wanted hair dryer, dishes, anything like that you had to go down stairs and ask at the front desk. Understand the sanitary reasoning but rather inconvenient. Continental breakfast was granola bars, very small muffins (which if you didn't get down early were all gone) and coffee.
