The fire pits at night are a neat concept. Scenery in the area is very pretty and makes a nice backdrop to the covered wagon and tee pee sections of the resort. They offer llama hikes, but I missed the cutoff for the season. The llamas were still on site, so at least I had s chance to see them and take a few pictures!

CapitalReef Resort is a greet property with many amenities. However, our particular cabin was not well thought out when it was built. We had paid a rather high price for a cabin that looked out at the cliffs with another couple. It was two bedrooms with 1 f 1/2 baths and a small living area and kitchen (#615). However, it was so tiny that it was beyond crammed. The second bedroom had absolutely no space for luggage. My husband had to keep his suitcase on the back deck and mine was in the living area. The bedroom was so cramped that two people could hardly maneuver in it. The half bath in that bedroom had the same problem. The living area was also tight due to having to put luggage in it. We also had quite a few maintenance issues. Though we loved the rest of the resort, This particular cabin needs better planning and was probably very overpriced considering it’s problems.

View and location were great. Door to our room was not well sealed daylight and significant gaps all around door. Room 237

Beautiful views, quiet and easily accessible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant had good dinners and terrifying service. Breakfast buffet was ok, not great. All in all a great experience and would definitely return or recommend to others.
