I was a lil worried when I first pulled up but I didn't judge a book by its cover. When I went in the room it was really nice and clean. The only downfall was the tv had terrible service.

Two things made my overnight stay less than perfect. 1.) The four interruptions from random people banging on my door repeatedly looking for someone who apparently stayed there at some point. (Staff did call the police to have them removed from the property i can only suspect drug dealing). 2.) Breakfast closed twenty minutes early so had to purchase breakfast somewhere else.

DID NOT STAY

Location: did not stay long enough to see
I checked in, went to the room, looked around, IMMEADIATELY went back to the desk told them I had to leave. They would not refund my $$ , even though I was in that awful place for a total of 15 minutes. I emailed Expedia, no answer, I have placed a dispute with my CC company, waiting for reply.

Nothing fancy, but very friendly!

The room was cramped for 4, the furnishings and bathroom are dated. The cleaning staff consistently "shorted" us on towels, coffee, etc. BUT, the front desk staff was FANTASTIC, friendly, and anxious to make everything right. There aren't many options in the Torrington area these days... this one works, and the friendly people running it make it our choice in the local area.

ARTIC freeze hots Torrington room!

Horrible. Arrived almost midnight and the only room that met our request had the heat off ALL DAY. Was told would warm up in 10 minutes. Slept the first 3 hours fully dressed in out winter clothing. Was 6 hours later when the room was warm enough to be toletable.

OK but the room did not get warm enough and the heater made noises every 3-10 seconds all night! Breakfast was good. They tried to clear the snow in the morning and did shovel you out when needed. Had a foot of snow!
