Nice hotel on the beach

Posted Aug 17, 2017
This hotel was nice. It was comfortable, clean, staff was really nice and helpful with navigating us around. The restaurant staff were such amazing people. Ms Gloria was our server, we love Ms Gloria, such an amazing soul. The area is geared toward tourist so if your locking for anything local you'll have to go to Road Town. Food is pricey but delicious so expect to spend a lot . The beach was absolutely amazing. We hiked to Smugglers Cove which was breathtaking and not bombarded with people. We love chatting with the locals so be prepared to have good conversations.

Good location, very good on-the-ground staff

Posted Aug 10, 2017
Pros: Location and Alan
Cons: The "full" kitchen does not include an oven, which is fine, but it should be noted online.
Location: We drove to Smuggler's Cove, which was great, but the road to get there is rough. We also went to the distillery, which was fun.
I stayed at Sebastian's with my 21-year-old daughter and found the location of the hotel to be very good. It is not easy to get to from either ferry station, and I would strongly recommend a car to get around anywhere. The on-the-ground staff (Alan) were all very helpful, and the hotel even helped us move rooms when we were put in the wrong type of room originally. The on-site restaurant is good, and if you ask for a pizza menu, you'll find lesser-expensive options for families. There is not much of a beach at this property, but if you have a car, you can get to nice ones pretty easily.

Wonderful Staff

Posted Jul 11, 2017
Pros: The staff was very friendly and helpful as mentioned above. The lack of pretension was a big plus for me.
Cons: Bed could have been a bit more comfortable.
Location: Location on the north shore of Tortola had access to swimming, snorkeling, local restaurants. We didn't have a car so we didn't explore.
We stayed in a lovely clean room with a second floor view of the ocean. The staff was especially helpful. When I left, I forgot my passport and one of the staff brought it to me at the boat dock. The food was good. I really can't say enough about Sebastian's as a wonderful stop on your vacation in Tortola.

Good hotel but villas are not on the beach but overlook the sea from a rocky point.

Great beach but a little sketchy

Posted Jun 29, 2017
Enjoyed the restaurant-- good food and cold beer. Great beach. Walked to Long Bay and it was beautiful. Did not feel safe there after dark. Left early-- went to St Thomas.

Nice ocean view

Posted Jun 6, 2017
Pros: Close to sopers hole marina and cane garden bay.
Loved the wait staff and bartenders. Sebastian rum was awesome. So good we drank it out of shot glasses straight. We landed late and they kept the kitchen opened later so we could eat.

Nice location

The staff was very slow for being the off season. There were 6 for dinner and the delivery of the meals was almost 5 minutes between the first plate and last

An Overall Pleasant Night

Posted Apr 23, 2017 on Hotels
Some of the hotel rooms are right on the beach and some are across the street in a courtyard setting, which is where we stayed for the one night we were there. We enjoyed having a restaurant/bar on the property with beautiful beach views. Also, the patio area next to it was an added bonus to enjoy morning coffee before the restaurant opened at 8am and for afternoon cocktails. The sunset was beautiful and we enjoyed a bottle of wine on the beach! The room was very clean and adequte sized for two of us in the two queen beds. The front desk staff needs a lesson in hospitality as they were kind of grumpy!

Good location and nice beach. Very nice restaurant w/ a great view. Staff was helpful. Room was clean but dated. The room had the basics iron, refrigerator, coffe but was cramped. Nice garden and location was convenient for getting around
