Excellent chateau experience!Posted Dec 1, 2017
Pros: Staying in an actual chateau in the Loire valley. Jr. suite hotel room was an unexpected bonus!
Cons: Probably not , except closer to Tours.
Location: With a car, you can be close enough to anything in the valley.
Wonderful! Staff were friendly and attentive, room was spotless with new fixtures in bath. Surreal chateau experience and wonderful wine tasting in the cellar.

Life in a real castlePosted Nov 21, 2017
Pros: The staff, the comfort of the room and the amenities.
Location: Located outside of town, in a country setting. It was close enough to the city to go back and forth as needed.
We enjoyed spending the night in a real castle while visiting France. The room was beautiful with views on the gardens and tennis court. The room service was impeccable!

You have to come and live the experiencePosted Oct 3, 2017 on Orbitz
This hotel is amazing. The staff was very nice. The hotel room was recently renovated so it lookeed as new, with the style of epoque. The breakfast was a 10, many different options to choose. The landscape also amazing. The hotel has some humidity smell in the corridor but it is not in the rooms, so you can have a peacefull night. It is going through renovation so it is going to be better in a months. I recommend visiting this place. Once in a lifetime.

Great Chateau experience, close to all sites in LoPosted Sep 17, 2017
Pros: Close to all sites but on a large private and quiet property
Wonderful Chateau in the heart of Loire Valley. Outstanding restaurant and great service. A beautiful pool and the owner happened to be staying while we were there. A gentleman who greeted us at the Restaurant and complimented my wife.

Classic chateau in idyllic settingPosted Sep 6, 2017
Pros: The character of the building and the lovely grounds.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the room and breakfast needs to be revamped
Stayed one night on drive through France on route to Spain. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and inside everywhere is full of character, exactly what you would expect from French chateau. Staff at reception, in the bar and restaurant were very pleasant and helpful. The room was spacious, the bed was large and comfortable and the only things lacking were tea/coffee making facilities and an information booklet. Not a major issue but it is the only hotel room I have ever been in without an information booklet about hotel facilities, restaurant, and local amenities. At reception they said the hotel had changed ownership the previous year and everything was being reprinted, but it seemed odd. The meal in the restaurant in the evening was first class, it was expensive, but you expect to pay for quality. Breakfast the following morning was not quite as majestic! Not much choice- apple juice and nothing else, and a lack of any staff member most of the time we were eating breakfast. One group of four had to move their own tables to be together with no staff member to assist. There were one or two other shortages and items running out, because there was no vigilant staff around, so the breakfast experience did not live up to the other aspects of our stay. Nether the less, breakfast excluded, it was an expensive but enjoyable stop over and was a pleasant addition to our drive through France

Stay in The Loire ValleyPosted Aug 12, 2017 on Hotels
Overall niceish. Good location, nice if not expensive dinner served rather fussily buy a waiter in contrast to the obnoxious and rude waitresses. Breakfast at 46 Euro frankly daylight robbery. Shockingly overpriced.
