Nice basic hotel

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Pros: Good value.
Cons: Better sound-proofing in the rooms
The hotel was nice, among the best we can find in the area. There is a free breakfast, but I wouldn't rate the breakfast as excellent. The eggs fresh from the kitchen were cold. I'd skip the free breakfast. Overall, I'd say good value for the money. The only negative, which is no fault of the hotel, is that we had loud neighbours: 5 in one room preparing for some religious event on Sunday. They were talking loud into the night at 1 am and again starting at 7:30 am. We could hear everything they were saying through the door adjoining the rooms.

Overpriced

Pros: Location
Cons: Prematurely tired and worn out.
Hotel is only six months old but looks six years old. Lots of wear and tear on furniture. Refrig didn't work well.

Expensive, not a good use of your travel money.

Pros: The shower was nice
Cons: The breakfast
Location: Off the highway enough not to have noise, but not close to food or a pub without driving.
This hotel was very over priced for the value. The rooms are nice, but very standard. We paid 2.5X what we paid for our other nights along Rt 6 and the accomodations were not 2.5 X better. The lobby is stark (they are replacing the flooring in one section). The on line information states that there is a restaurant within walking distance (which shocked the desk clerk when we asked about it) but there are no sidewalks to walk anywhere and it is a busy highway. The amenities were not any better than the other places were stayed for a fraction of the price along RT6. The breakfast was really poor (but "free").
