Great resort!!! Relaxing, attentive ataff, delicious food, and just the right size for a relaxing vacation. Many activities to choose from! We loved the carribean feel and decor - light, airy, and tropical.

Very nice resortPosted Mar 4, 2018
Beautiful resort with plenty of tropical foliage everywhere. The staff does a great job with keeping the resort clean. Most of the staff was great. Only two of the waitresses were not so great, one of them being Simone. Haneiff was a freakin' rock star. Disappointed in the fruit bar, as I thought there would be more of a selection of tropical fruit I wouldn't be able to readily find in the States. I thought the selection would be more like the pic online. The smoothie I got was tasty though. The food was awesome. The entertainment was pretty good Amakay was a great host and dance teacher. Dunn's River Falls was great. The catamaran Captain needs to brush up on his training. The folks that went swimming off the boat were left at Sea for about an hour, give or take a few minutes. He didn't know how to get them back in the boat. Although I didn't get in the water, it was pretty nerve-wracking watching all that go down. After everyone finally got back on the boat everyone was ready to party and we continued with the ride. We ended up having fun. The couple's massage was nice. Only other complaint would be the cleanliness of the room. Although it looked pretty clean and our view was incredible, on our last night we saw a roach in the bathroom. Then I saw a dead one by the front door. Also, there were what looked like teeny tiny ants on the mini bar. I don't like bugs so I wasn't thrilled about seeing them in my room that I paid SO much to stay in. Overall, our stay was great.

Beautiful resort, but ruined by illnessPosted Feb 10, 2018
Pros: The setting is beautiful, we felt the rooms were spacious and clean, and most of the staff was very helpful.
Cons: Guests that spend thousands of dollars shouldn't be made to feel like nuisances when they are ill. An offer of gatorade even...
Location: We were forced to stay on property due to our illness, but many others were well enough to go into town or to the falls.
My husband and I traveled to Couples Tower Isle for our 10th anniversary at the beginning of February 2018. We were never able to take a honeymoon, so this trip was precious to us. We had a wonderful flight, the ground transportation to the resort was amazing, and our first two days were full of kind staff and lots of fun at the swim up bar. Unfortunately, both my husband and I became extremely ill for 36 hours at the exact same time as many other guests we never came into contact with previously. To us, it was very obviously contamination of the food as the guests we spoke to fell ill at the same time. We were seen by the nurse after hours of waiting as she was very busy that day with other guests. We spoke with the operations manager before leaving and were asked to fill out a food history (the nurse forgot to mention this form when she visited...) that would be used to work with the ministry of health to determine if intervention was needed. Our efforts to work to resolve our issues with the resort have been unsatisfactory. We left feeling like liabilities vs valued guests. We will not be returning to any Couples resorts.

Pros: Loved the food and all the employees.
Highly recommend the Spa Villas. All of the employees in the spa were great. Also Paulette in guest relations is awesome. The food was the best we have ever had at an all inclusive.

Couples Tower Isle - Great ResortPosted Dec 23, 2017
Pros: Intimate and romantic
Location: Dunns River Falls Margaritaville
My wife and I stayed at Couples Tower Isle from December 17 through December 22. We fell in love with this resort. This is our second trip to Jamaica. We had previously stayed at the Iberostar Grand Rose Hall in Montego Bay in June. While the Iberostar is a wonderful resort - big and splashy with new and stylish amenities, we found Couples Tower Isle to be more intimate and romantic. It is a smaller property with a secluded beach. The layout, which features a lush garden in addition to the beach, is beautiful. The resort is impeccably clean, with staff working constantly to ensure that the rooms and the grounds are tidy. We had a stunning view of the ocean from our Deluxe Ocean room. The dining is varied and excellent. We enjoyed the food at all of the restaurants - Bayside, Eight Rivers, Verandah and the Pool Grill. At the Bayside restaurant, we had the pleasure of meeting Specialty Chef Anish Kumar, who prepared a special shrimp dish with red curry for us. We also met Leonard Henry, the manager of the resort the following morning, who came over to our table at breakfast in the Patio to greet us and ask us about our stay. He then went right over to the guest services desk to ensure that we had reservations for a return visit to Bayside that night. We also enjoyed a fantastic couples massage at the spa, courtesy of Winsome and Sharon. Of course, the biggest incentive to visit Couples Resort is its staff. No matter how old or young, they were without exception, p

Excellent staff and hotel amentitiesPosted Dec 17, 2017
Pros: The staff go above expectation and the food is very good.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Golf is about a 15 minute ride away. Last year we went to Dunn's River Falls, highly recommend it.
This was our second time visiting Couples Tower Isle. We have so much fun golfing, swimming, drinking and relaxing, despite the unexpected rain 4 out of 9 days. Looking forward to going again next year!

Not what we expectedPosted Nov 16, 2017
We booked this hotel because it had so many great reviews. It did not meet our expectations at all. Upon arrival we had to call maintenance because the door on the cabinet for the refrigerator was falling off. There was no cover on the sink drain which was very disgusting. Every time you brushed your teeth you could see what was down in the drain. Also if something small fell in the sink you would be out of luck. One day we came back to our room to get ready for dinner around 6:00 and our room still had not been made up. Also don't get too comfortable on the beach. If there is a wedding they make you move. We had to do that two days in a row. They should have a special area set aside for weddings not the middle of the beach. No need to return to this hotel.
