"Perfect place to stay.. just outside of Eillicoteville with lots of green space but close enough to fully explore and enjoythe village and surrounding area. The rental was clean, cozy and comfortable…..perfect in every way for us and our dog. "The location and designated parking at this property are second to none! The amenities are suitable for two couples or for a family with a few kids. It is a very short walking distance to literally everything in town. Check in and check out were super easy. Communication with the property owner through VRBO app was also simple. Could there be a few things updated? Yes. Were any of them deal breakers? Not in the least. And...the price was right. We will stay at the Straus Haus again for sure!"

"Room and property were clean, the property is currently under renovation, so some services were not available during my stay. The staff were super helpful and friendly. They arrange for free shuttles to the casino or bingo. The little omelette things were surprisingly delicious. Walking distance to the museum, several dining establishments and dispensaries. Yolked cafe is a new brunch spot.I arrived in town on a Greyhound and the staff gladly allowed me to check in early and check out late. Great experience. "
