VERY HANDY LOCATION

Cons: HOTEL ADVERTISES A GYM, HOWEVER IT LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED. A ROWER, BIKE & TREADMILL IN A SMALL HOTBOX OF A ROOM DOES NOT COUNT AS A GYM.
GREAT OUTLOOK FROM OUR ROOM, CONVENIENT LOCATION, CLEAN & COMFORTABLE ROOM. CHOICE OF POOLS WAS A GREAT OPTION.

Nice apartments, great pools and view.

Location: Shop and car hire close, excellent massage on magnetic Very handy for island ferry and bus. Aquascene boat day trip well worth it.
Room was well equipped apartment style. Excellent for mixing a bit of self catering and eating out when you fancy. Apartments in good condition but beginning to age just a little as the complex is about 10 years old, as a result a paint refresh and replacement of some of the items would go a miss. We have stayed at both the Grand Mercure apartments and Peppers across the road. Not much between them but the GM room we had did have a fantastic view over the water. Would stay again.

Great views over the bay

Stayed in September the weather was magnificent our balcony view over the bay always had watercraft coming and going. We had rock wallabies on our doorstep. There are 4 pools to choose from to follow the sun. Our room was clean and tidy though a little tired and the couch was uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and the hotel is well placed near the ferry terminal, bus around the island and IGA supermarket. There is no restaurant or spa at the resort but both are close by. Would stay here again.

Excellent location but the rooms we were allocated

Pros: Location and helpful staff attitudes.
Cons: Permanent upkeep of the accommodation.
Location: The location was very convenient and the nearby activities were adequate.
The rooms we occupied had not been well maintained. The front of the refrigerator and one of the towel rails were rusty, the toe-kick under the dishwasher had been pushed in, the television needed to be replaced and the toaster was gresy to the touch. Overall, the accommodation was not up to the advertised luxury standard and the WIFI was unreliable, not being available in the rooms on several days.

Thankyou for your review, I do apologize for your poorly cleaned room. Unfortunately, being on a remote island internet is signal is very tricky to get reliable. We have very strong signal here in reception so if you ever intend on staying with us again feel free to discuss that option.

Great hotel close to Ferry

We had a great 2 night stay here on Magnetic Island. The hotel was a short walk from ferry terminal and also to local car hire place. Driving around the island in one of the topless car/mokes was a lot of fun. The hotel position was perfect and convenient. Our apartment was clean and modern with beautiful ocean views.

Great view, disappointing accommodations

Pros: Close proximity to Ferry Terminal and IGA
Cons: Cleanliness, new bed
The view from our room and balcony was lovely, close to Nelly Bay Ferry Terminal. Our bed was in need of replacement, it was uncomfortable, worn and the base was broken. Not enough towels provided but we asked for more and they were delivered within 2 hours. The carpet was stained and tile floors dirty, there was black mould in bath/shower which was difficult to enter and exit and the kitchen was crawling in tiny ants. The filthy 2 seat sofa was uncomfortable. Checkin was gruelling, the manager was incompetent, slow and absent minded. We would not recommend this property but thoroughly enjoyed Magnetic Island. Scooter and 4wd hire were convenient & fun, the walking trails excellent, unfortunately due to high wind we were unable to enjoy the Jet Ski Tour or the Snorkel Tour.

Pros: Views and proximity.
Cons: Cleanliness and general welcomeness for guests.
Beautiful views but dirty windows, slimy floor and poor air-conditioning. V disappointing that pool towels needed to be paid for on top off $500 a night!
