Great place for families.

Pros: Everything, the location. the clean facilities and secure parking
Cons: Check-IN
Location: The beautiful strand and restaurants nearby.
I love staying at this place. We arrived after hours, at 2pm on Sunday, and reception was closed and where they kept after hours keys our code did not work. When someone came down to check us in they said we didn't tell them a time we would arrive. We did not get an email a week before, for this reason, because we only booked 4 days before. It was also a battle to get keys back afterhours when the code doesn't work for the locked box.

Location: Direkt am Strand, Ausflug Magnetic Island (Fähre zu Fuß erreichbar), Tierwelt direkt vor der Nase, Wasseraktivitäten oder Ruhe, alles dabei
Ausflug nach Magnetic Island mit wildlebende Koalas (Butterflywalk in Horeshorebay)

Love the view

Pros: Being on the beach and close to everything.
Cons: Some of the utensils could be replaced.
Location: We loved walking along the Strand enjoying the views and restaurants.
We had a lovely weekend catching up with family and friends. The hotel was lovely, in a great position, close to everything, beautiful views of the Strand and beach.

Brilliant location for families to stay

Pros: The large size of rooms, great parking spaces, very comfortable beds, large bathrooms
Cons: I wouldn't stay on the ground floor.
Location: the beach one side and Mariner the other - beautiful. A short walk to the casino, convention centre. Gellitisimo - ice cream
We recently stayed at Mariner's North and it was a brilliant experience. The room had everything we could have possibly needed including a full seperate laundry in the room that was great for drying towels after late night swims in the beautiful pool and before the beach trip the next morning. The rooms were large, brilliant living space with verandahs off both sides so all of us could find our own space in the afternoons. My only little concern was that we were on the ground floor beside the reception and lift and it was quite noisy at the bedroom end of the unit in the afternoon and evenings - just ask not to be in room 7 - otherwise all great!!

Great ocean views close to CBD and The Strand

Pros: The hotel itself was very well appointed.
Cons: Male receptionist's manner needs to improve. He was unfriendly and abrupt. Not in the least bit welcoming.
Upon arrival I proceeded with my elderly mother to Reception for check in. The male receptionist did not greet us with a welcoming manner - in fact he did not greet us at all. He conducted the check and when it came time to pay my mother stated that she had forgotten her credit card pin number - she told me afterwards that the receptionist's unfriendly manner upset her and made her feel nervous. I made payment with a different card. In the days leading up to our stay I rang and enquired as to the location of our 2 bedroom apartment and asked if it was serviced by a lift - I was advised by a male employee that it was located several floors up and was not serviced by a lift - I was told, "That's extra." A day later I phoned again and explained that I was attending with my elderly mother who could not negotiate stairs - I requested a 2 bedroom ground floor apartment. A female worker reassured that she had amended the booking as requested. Her manner was polite and friendly. Upon arrival at the hotel I enquired as to the location of our apartment and was told in an abrupt manner by the male receptionist that we were in a 3 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. When I tried to explain that it had been changed to a ground floor apartment he interrupted me with the following, "I'm telling you you're on the 4th floor in a 3 bedroom apartment but you'll only be using 2 rooms." Unfortunately this man's unfriendly manner ruined our stay.

Hi Melinda, Very disappointing to read your comments, whilst my recollection of the events are obviously different to yours I apologize to you felt this way about my manner. I would like to add I have owned & operated this business for 8 years. During the course of this period we have consistently rated highly with our guests in all facets of their experience including customer service. Good comfortable stay

Room was a good size. Beautiful spot. Resort could have been a bit cleaner. A nice comfortable resort in a good spot with good amenities.

Great accommodation and location.

Brilliant rooms heaps of room. Hotel is close to town and The Stand. Good bars and eateries close by. Hotel pool is great, very relaxing place.
