“One of the most modern hotel in Uyuni, rooms are really clean and big. Bed are good quality. Breakfast could be more extensive but it’s good quality.”
“This hotel was excellent. The property is in a convenient location right near the main square and tourist offices. The breakfast was delicious and the room was lovely and clean. The room was also very warm and hot running water which was very welcome!! The staff are very friendly and helpful, I would certainly recommend a stay here.”
“I really enjoyed my stay; room was clean, it had all the needs to the cold weather in Uyuni.
The location is perfect and also it included an amazing breakfast.
Staff was really helpful and friendly also!”
“Listen up... this is not the most fancy place and that's ok... it's a inn situated inside a train station. I booked the family room which feature a loft and private bathroom. The window was always ajar and the cold breeze keeps wafting through. There is ample space to walk around and doesn't feel cramp. In fact, the dark wood might be comparable to a Scandinavian lodge! The manager is friendly. Truth be told, there aren't many fancy boutique hotels in the vincinity. Uyuni may be tourists centric……
“I booked Hotel Sal Andina through Expedia for three nights, but my experience was extremely disappointing.
Expedia stated that English and Spanish were available, but I could not communicate with any staff member in English. All explanations were in Spanish, so I had to use a translation app every time. This made even simple interactions stressful.
Expedia also advertised a 24-hour front desk, but staff were not actually available 24 hours a day. I had a prepaid tour departing at 3:30 AM, but……
“The staff was friendly. However, the bathroom did not seem to have been properly cleaned before our stay. Also, the host was asleep when we wanted to enter the hostel around 11 p.m. We had to wait for about 10 minutes and keep calling before he woke up and opened the door.”
