Happy hour every evening!

Location: Travelers Rest is where you stop to winter before crossing the mountains on the way north.
I've been on the road for nearly three months and I have stayed in upwards of 75 hotels during that time. Best Western Travelers Rest is the best of all of them. It's not upscale luxury but it fulfills all of the needs of the everyday traveler; cleanliness, comfort, good HD tv, excellent wifi, great location, grocery next door, great restaurants in Travelers Rest just a few minutes away. Charlie at the front desk did me a big favor in extending my stay last time I was there. Thanks.

Near Traveler'r Rest and Furman University

Pros: Price and bed and staff was friendly.
Cons: Shower stall was tight and while it had soap and shampoo dispensers in shower, no where to put my personal items.
Location: Furman University.
Nice basic hotel. Had a king room with shower but no tub. Shower kind of tight but manageable. Not sure why hotels who use showers neglect having a shelf to put your personal shampoo etc. handy. This issue not limited to this property. Near Furman University and much cheaper than Hampton Inn down the street.

Very disappointed

Hotel was apparently remodeled on the cheap. Walk-in shower had no shelves or grab bars, door didn't fully close, so water went everywhere. My brother's room was worse - toilet was broken, and he killed the resident roach and left it for the staff to see. Very noisy - you could hear the guests overhead, and cars parked 3 ft from your window!

Cozy/Modern decor near Furman University

Can NOT complain! Everything was clean & comfortable, the free breakfast was really good (especially the waffles!),and the staff was both helpful and friendly. Thank you to all who helped make our stay so pleasant.

Worst stay of any hotel in 40 years of travel

Pros: Excellent staff except for one.
Most Hotel staff is excellent and makes you feel very comfortable and happy to be there, but one was beyond terrible and makes you feel very uncomfortable to the point you wish you had never checked in there.

We stayed 6 days in this renovated hotel (a year ago). Súper clean, well decorated, enough space for everything. Location is also good, walking distance from travelers rest down town, restaurantes, and stores. All the workers are nace with excellent customer services especially the housekeepers. Breakfast is great, many choices. Happy to recomend this hotel :-)

Nice Hotel Close to Furman University

Pros: It was a great price, clean inside and out and nice room amenities.
Cons: Nothing
Location: We attended nearby sporting events
We had a great stay at this Hotel. This was due to a helping and caring staff. This was not just one staff member but the entire staff from the time we arrived to the time we checked out. For us the location was nice. Plenty of fast foods and close to the sporting events that we attended.

Confirmed Room Not Available

Pros: Were not able to stay here.
Cons: The reservation procedure.
Location: Very convenient for exploring area, but we could not stay here this time because, contrary to what Expedia communicated to us, there were no rooms.
We have stayed at this motel before, but this time our room reservation which was confirmed by e-mail and text was not available to us. We were told that Expedia confirmed rooms for several people that just were not available - the motel was full. We were given a better room at another location but it was not convenient to where we wanted to be.
