Good location, clean room.

Posted Aug 11, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness, location, staff friendliness.
Cons: Nothing worth mentioning.
Location: Old Mission Peninsula, multiple vineyards, Jolly Pumpkin, the Boathouse, the Old Mission Lighthouse, local breweries, Pirates Cove, Ham Bonz, downtown
The entire hotel was very clean and looked like it was recently updated. We stayed in Traverse City to explore the town, the peninsula and the dunes so this Best Western was in a good location for us. We had a room with a loft so our daughter had to go up and down a spiral staircase to reach her bed. Kind of fun in some regards since she had her own space. The staff was very helpful and recommended some local restaurants that turned out to be very good. Parking is a bit limited in front, especially when returning back later in the evening. More parking is around back however. The included breakfast was simple but good enough to get us all going in the morning.

Horrible - dated hotel. Very disappointed!!!!!!!!!

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: NOTHING! Absolutely horrible - seriously - don't stay here! We were so disappointed & uncomfortable - yet all hotels - also dated, in area sold out.
Cons: They need to update their hotels - and stop with the false advertisement. They said we'd have a "city view" which was overlooking the parking lot!
Location: Mackinac Island is the best thing to experience in the area. All hotels and restaurants are dated and old. For the going rate of $400/night? NEVER!
Horrible experience- sub par food - not fresh - refused to eat their breakfast. Our room had old, smelly carpet and a porn like set up with a huge jacuzzi surrounded by mirrors that took up more than 60% of the room AND our room overlooked a parking lot - which they said was a "city view". COMPLETE FALSE ADVERTISEMENT - do not stay here if you value a quality stay in Mackinac City. Worse decision ever - and it was supposed to be a romantic weekend. NOT!

True hospitality

Posted Jul 23, 2016
I was not thinking when I scheduled my free shuttle time, when I realized that I almost missed my flight, but the hotel manager was so helpful and drove me to the airport so I can catch my flight, that really made my day! Thank you!

Pleasantly surprised!

Posted Jun 13, 2016
There was not much of a view but I was pleasantly surprised at its redeeming qualities. It appeared relatively new and and was very clean and modern looking..The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with many nutritious choices. The eating area was kept clean and the buffet was kept replenished. I had to do a load of laundry and that area was clean also.

There was a dog right next door to us that barked and cried for 2 mornings all morning long. That was not a fun thing to wake up to. They should keep their dog friendly rooms further away from other guests when able.

Nice hotel- close to downtown

Posted May 13, 2016
This was a nice hotel for the price. I was very Impressed with their breakfast options. They had waffles with lots of fun toppings and hot food and pastries and much more. The hotel was clean and easy to find. Parking was good. I'd stay here again.

Newly remodeled and exceptionally clean!

Posted May 3, 2016 on Hotels
The most important quality that I look for in a hotel is cleanliness. Best Western Four Seasons did not disappoint! Everything was newly remodeled... New carpet, new paint, new furniture, new mattresses, new fixtures, new tub, new tile, new toilet... Did I mention that it was new? The staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was good. I would definitely return and recommend this hotel!
