Grand Beach has a spectacular view of Grand Traverse Bay. The Beach frontage, right outside of the hotel is lovely too. The decor in the rooms and the hotel common spaces is pleasant and comfortable. Loved the lighthouse table lamp/night light! The coffee in the lobby was delicious/Starbucks. The desk staff and other employees were always pleasant and helpful. Nice quality pool towels. And good boxed breakfast.

Clean and contemporary facility with good staff communication. Only drawback is that they are staying with Covid style prepackaged breakfasts compared to the awesome breakfast bar pre-Covid.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. I am sorry your stay wasn't the very best. Our pool area is always well-maintained and cleaned. The maintenance department had a hard time keeping up with this years spring breakers. That is never a normal situation. We hope you will come back and try us out.

Grand beach is amazing. Very nice location, easy and efficient check in. The facility is so clean and comfortable. The room is spacious and so nice. The bed is very comfortable. Also a convenient breakfast which is selected upon check in and delivered at your door so you can eat in convenience. We stay here often as it is a definite go too. Highly recommend to others 😊

Bay view room was spectacular. Clean, nice inn right on the water. Great ice machine . I love how they do the complimentary breakfast. Order the night before from a menu card. The next morning it is delivered to you at the time you request. Winter rates are amazingly inexpensive. Laundry and indoor pool too.

loved the balcony and view. Beds were really comfortable. Bathtub was a hit. Everything was very clean. Breakfast boxes were just adequate. I think we would skip them next time and go to one of the many restaurants close by.

The balconies are gorgeous overlooking the sugar sand beach. The hotel room itself was really nice and updated. Loved that it has a fridge and microwave! A perfect escape and very reasonably priced for the winter.

Our stay was uncomfortable due to when we first arrived. We had previously stayed at this hotel and it was wonderful. This time, we immediately noticed the lack of care to cleanliness in the hallway with dirt, crumbs, water bottle caps on the hallway floor. Upon getting into our room (in the evening) we had a lot of ants all over the bathroom floor. There was something sticky on the floor and clearly it had been overlooked and not moped or cleaned up. We called and the staff came to clean it up. Then we noticed the refrigerator still had Chinese food in it from a previous guest. We asked for a trash bag to take it out and throw it away on our own. As I pulled the sheets back, I noticed they had not been changed from the previous guests. There was dried blood and bodily fluids on the sheets. I let them know immediately and they came to the room to put clean sheets on the bed. The next sheets were clean but I had to wait about 30 mins to get to bed. The patio table had (probably still has) a nasty coffee drink with mold and cigarette buds sitting on it. We let the staff know and they never picked it up. After all of this, we both slept terrible for the 3 nights we were there because we knew that our room had not been cleaned and there was a lack of care. When we let the staff know, they made excuses and told us they could not discount our room because we booked through Expedia. They offered us snacks and drinks from their little store. All we wanted was a clean room.

Room was nice, bed was comfy. Liked frig, micro and coffee pot but coffee choice was awful. Went down to lobby for pod coffee that was good. Pool was nice but jacuzzi ladder was like a boat ladder with narrow slats, straight down and the last step down into water was a doozy! Accident waiting to happen! Shower hose was hooked up inches away from water fountain and short hose. Yuck! Lots of kids and people in pool area. Counted 40. Didn't go back next day. Food left on tables. Food in drinking fountain. Parking areas were very narrow. Probably good for price we paid @$118.00 for families but we will not be returning. We are 70 yrs. old. Boxed breakfasts included were ok. Good for kids. We went on a Fri and Sat night in Feb. Disappointed in our pool trip.
