Fresh and Clean

Wonderful hotel! The accommodations were fresh and clean, comfortable beds, decorated very beachy and updated. They even shoveled snow paths between the vehicles!! Thank you! Great Stay!

Nice hotel

Pros: Overall a very nice hotel.
Very nice hotel. Even though it was November and cold, the view of the bay from our balcony was beautiful. Reserved a queen room and was pleasantly surprised to have a king room. Very comfortable and clean. Decor nice and updated. Staff very helpful. Continental breakfast was good and attendant was there if anything was needed. Definitely would stay again.

Stained blanket

We arrived at the place and found that the room was different from the pictures. We took out the blanket for the sofa bed we were going to use and found that there were stains on the blanket that appeared to be dry blood stains. We called down and they brought us up a different blanket 30 minutes later. I brought the issue up to the management and instead of her comping the room she took some money off. I will not be staying at this or their sister hotel Grand Beach hotel due to the lack of concern of us driving over two hours in the rain and sleet only to encounter something like that. We could have gone to a less expensive hotel for that matter. The manager on duty said that was all she could do and directed us to the General manager who wasn't available until 5 days from that day! So I will look forward to what he has to say.

Nice hotel on the beach

Pros: Location. Being right on the beach.
Cons: .
Location: Good location to downtown activities and heading west or to the peninsula.
We've stayed there before and it was great, but this time not so good. The bedding had a strong smell of bleach which affected my ability to sleep but they couldn't offer anything to remedy. Fortunately, I found linen spray at the Commons in Traverse which masked the strong smell. My husband and I found the comforter way too hot and my husband wanted a different pillow but they couldn't offer us anything us anything different. The staff was very accommodating and seemed concerned with my concerns.

Warm November day in Traverse City

Pros: Free coffee 24 / 7. It was almost 70 degrees on November 7th. Unheard of. Walked bear foot on the beach and had the place almost to ourselves. Great place.
Cons: Took my payment in advance of the stay. Had wanted to pay at checkout.
Location: Tons of wineries, great restaurants and lots more to do

Returned back for convienence , place down the street has had WiFi problems in the last 2 stays. Always a good stay.

The large TV and choice of programming .

Location: Love Thatsa Pizza and any time in Traverse City that is a stop. Plus the visitor bureau downtown is super.
Channel card was one of the best I have seen. The room was very comfortable though the style of decor not quite my modernist ways.
