Upstairs Home, Sleeps 10 Total. Isolated on 19 Acres Woods and Lake

Lakefront vacation home with kitchen and balcony
The upstairs home (1200SqFt) of a quiet raised ranch style home, just north of Suttons Bay. Isolated on 19 wooded acres with trails, a large front yard and view and access of a private lake. Located in one of the best summer vacation areas in the U.S. because of the activities, festivals, sights, and natural beauty. Paved driveway with possible indoor parking (3). With lots of additional parking on our private paved road behind the house and a giant front garden, this place is perfect for your special event. If it is going to be a summer weekend wedding, contact us to see if we can make it work. Surrounded by vineyards and close to Suttons Bay beach and restaurants. A casino "Leelanau Sands Casino" Is two miles North of us. All of Leelanau counties amenities are close by. As is Traverse city (17 miles). With a common entry, the house has two floors with separate livings and locked entries. Rent entire house or just upstairs (10) or downstairs (4).Close to a wedding venue, the upstairs home has an open kitchen, dining and living room. Two bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Master bedroom has one Queen size bed, the other room has two bunk beds and a 2 person sleeper couch. Living room has two 2-person sleeper couches. Total can sleep 10. On front a large balcony with wonderful view, the kitchen sliding doors open to a back garden with a fireplace and seating. Washer and dryer in upstairs hallway. To turn off the balcony nightlight: Switch downstairs on outer wall.Upstairs has a TV (local channels), BlueRay/DVD and Amazon Prime Video. WiFi throughout. For music and info there is an Echo Dot in Kitchen. Just say "Alexa".Your can start your stay with keys from a lockbox, or personal welcome from my wife Mei and me (Michael), or our managing friends Greg and Michelle when we are travelling. Greg is also the experienced maintenance and repair man for any upcoming issues. Once inside, go up the stairs and use the Red key to open Upstairs home door. Some rules to observe with regards to our little guests: No smoking inside, no pets inside, no loud noise outside after 11 PM and be mindful of noise for downstairs neighbors. Preferably use the provided slippers indoors. No driving on the grass please. Check-in 3PM or as agreed, Check-out 12PM (noon). Next summer the rentals will be from Saturday to Saturday.OUTSIDE SURROUNDINGS: A beautiful lake view awaits you and 19 wooded acres with leisurely trails. If you are looking for tranquility, ample space and natural beauty, this is it. Outside has ample parking for registered guests, more parking available for rent. Access to garage, backyard fireplace, treehouse and the lake (parents caution: Do not let children play in or near either unsupervised). The lake is spring fed and therefore murky. So it is not swimmable. The garage has a wooden garden playset, just right of the door, extra outdoor chairs, starter wood and paper under the bench and live vests on the center shelves. Behind the house is a terrace with fireplace, benches and table. Electricity and light switch on the rear pole. And then we have a tree house. With a fireman’s pole and room to sleep for two adults. Great place. We can arrange an airbed or foam layers and electricity inside. Remember to look at the stars at night (turn off all the house lights). on a clear night, a million stars and the Milky Way.AREA NOTES:-One of the best summer vacation areas in the U.S. because of the activities, festivals, sights, and natural beauty. -Suttons Bay beach and restaurants 4 miles south on M-22. Good parking at the public landing on the bay on the north side of town. Several restaurants in walking distance. Hanson’s supermarket on south side of town. As is Hop Lot, a fun beer place with outside seating/music and basic food. North of us is a casino (Leelanau Sands) in Peshabi town and a gas station.-Further north is the small town of Omena with a very cute bay and nice restaurant/wine tasting room.-Further north is the village of NorthPort, with music in the park (on the beach) every Friday evening 7-9PM. Further north, at the top of the Peninsula is the Light House park with historic Light House and amazing 270-degree view of Lake Michigan. In the winter you will find ice caves here with a blue cast inside.-Leland on the west side of the peninsula has historic Fish Town, worth a visit and several good restaurants. There are several walking trails nearby (The Whaleback, Clay Cliffs and a very cute “Peterson's Park”).-You are surrounded by vineyards with wine tasting rooms. -17 miles south is traverse city. Music at the “Little Fleet” food trucks and beer hall on front street. Check out Stella’s restaurant in old building 50.
