Great hotel

Posted Oct 11, 2017
Pros: everything
Cons: Airconditioning was turned off in October but it was not necessary at that time anyway.
Location: Walk to town square and don't miss the castle and alfresco murals on the tower wall within the castle.
Excellent . Classy ,grand lobby, right in the middle of town, 100 yard walk from rail station, quiet.Wall to wall carpet in rooms and hallways, excellent breakfast.

Great hotel, centrally located

Posted Oct 5, 2017
Pros: Everything was great
Cons: Nothing
Location: Great location, close to the town centre and train station. MUSE science and nature museum is very good
Easy 1 minute walk from the train station, staff very welcoming and professional. The interior of the hotel is fantastic, as are the rooms. Spacious with everything you need, with a great view of the mountains. Room service was great. A short walk gets you to the very charming old town.

We had a great surprise with this hotel. It really looks like a five star hotel, amazing breakfast, very nice stuff give us room before the time. Great location near train and bus station perfect for travelers with public transportation.

A wonderful place to vacation

Although we were only there for one day, we loved and are considering visiting in the future for a week. The hotel is very clean, spacious and has beautiful views. I think it has everything you could want, view, beach, spa, fitness and more

Truly grand hotel close to the train station.

Posted Aug 28, 2017
I was really impressed with the hotel. It had the feel of one of the old, high end hotels where everything is very well done and the focus is on pampering the customer. The lobby and bar areas, and even the hotel rooms, are done with a lot of wood paneling, luxiouruos rugs and draperies. It reminded me of a hotel you might see featured in a movie set in the 1920's or 30's. The rooms, however, were very up to date with bedside electronics that controlled all of the lights and the air conditioning for the room. There was also turn-down service every evening - something you don't see at very many hotels today. The hotel is located about a block from the train station and just about a block from the town center, so getting around was very easy.

Good hotel, but lack of iron let it down.

Posted Jul 31, 2017 on Hotels
Large rooms, kept in good condition. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Lack of plug sockets in rooms and the entire hotel did NOT have a proper iron - just a single travel iron. This caused an issue when multiple people attending a wedding wanted to iron clothes.!
