Holiday getaway
We enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home

5/5 Excellent

Conveniently located, very clean and has everything you need. It’s close to Chattanooga but yet still in the country and quiet. We would definitely stay again.

4/5 Good

Quiet neighborhood that is centrally located.
We had a very nice stay at this property. I forgot my piece of paper that had my check-in info at the house but we were able to contact the manager through the VRBO website without problems. Their response was quick and efficient. The process was effortless. The house was very clean. The television looked like it streamed off of the internet and worked just fine. There were too many TV stations to count. The house is in a quiet neighborhood off the main drag. No traffic noise here. It also was close to Cloud-land Canyon and it was a short drive to Chattanooga via the interstate. The only thing that I would consider changing in the house would be more toilet paper. We got one spare roll in each bathroom for four people for 5 days. It was close. There were no spare blankets and we were only allotted one bath towel one hand towel and one washcloth for each person for our stay. I am sure we could have called the property manager and got more but there were no spares available in the house. The bedroom that has the bunk beds is in need of some type of end table or something to put your phone and jewelry on at night when you go to bed. Also, the kitchen had all of the basic necessities but had nothing available for food storage. Plan on going to the grocery store if you need something like a plastic bag or a piece of aluminum foil. These issues are not meant to be critical but informative. This is a nice house and it appears to be fairly new construction. We had a great time and you couldn't beat the rate compared to other VRBOs in the area.

As described… almost
This is a newer modern home with many conveniences as advertised located in a rural area but still close to some conveniences (dollar stores, subway, Guthrie’s, etc). Initially we were quite pleased with the property (newer, nicely decorated, etc), however as we settled in we noticed that there was a serious spider infestation, mouse droppings (although we never saw a mouse) and some of the bedsheets had clearly not been changed from last guests. I made the property managers aware and they were very responsive and apologetic. The offered to send housekeeping and maintenance out to address our concerns. I had already washed the bed sheets so we did not have housekeeping come back out but we did ask for maintenance to come and spray. After maintenance sprayed, and we sprayed again (they did drop off bug spray and mouse traps) and vacuumed the property we did not see any more spiders after day 2. I think we probably killed about 20-30 spiders in all. Despite all of this I would still consider staying here again as overall the property was very comfortable for a family of four and it was nice to be able to cook some meals in the home instead of eating out every meal. The property managers were very responsive. I’m assuming that our spider incident was an anomaly because no one else has commented on it in their comments, and I wonder if the property has been empty for a few weeks before our stay?
