We had an amazing time staying at Umami. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept, the staff was amazing and the location was close to the beach. Also the drinks from the bar, 10/10. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Puerto Viejo!

From the moment I arrived i felt as though the staff made me feel like i was there only priority. I am not good with names but i will say at this magical place not only did I remember Michael, Bryon, Carolina just to name a few but I will always remember the special moments they gave me.

This is gem in the middle of the mountains. The hotel is beautiful beyond words, the staff is excellent the food delicious. We had an amazing stay and will come back for sure. For me as a wildlife photographer, this was Paradise.
