not for people with mobility issues. bed in stairs loft and bathroom on first floor. joseph wasnt overly friendly or helpful. other staff members went above. nice private bath and conveniently located. do not have shuttle service but can call you a taxi.if booking in advance add an additional charge. airport taxi twenty more than stated on website, coffee and tea not restocked and unwilling to replinish

We will need to look for a place that can accommodate a person who can’t do stairs next time. There was no way tp access the hotel without at least 10 stair steps. My husband ended up in emergency the first night from missing a stair step. The brunch was EXCELLENT. Best I have ever been to. The elevator was out of service on check out day. Luckily the staff came to help us take luggage down four flights of stairs.

Don't stay here
Please don't waste your money here! The accommodations are subpar, outdated and the place has nothing special or distinguished. The shower didn't drain, the walls were dirty, the bed was very stiff and uncomfortable, and like mentioned in previous comments, the AC does not work. The staff is not the most helpful, the location is purely okay and the walls are incredibly thin as I was woken up several times through the evening by neighbors walking down the hallway. I don't understand how this place has the rating it has, especially considering the price range.

Imagine booking a hotel, arriving finding it closed, with just an A4 paper saying another hotel "100m" is where you need to check-in, put in google maps and realise it's 500m away. The check-in uses Covid as an excuse, but every other hotel is open in Rome with staff.. They just sell the hotel online, knowing its closed.. also we live in Rome, and they charged tourist tax, despite not being allowed to do so. The hotel they send guest too was clean, but the TV was super small and not at all great, breakfast was decent, but the fact they STOLE tourist tax when they are not supposed to, lied about the hotel being open, lied that it was only 100 m walk when google says 500 m, is an absolute disgrace,, they are dishonest and the hotel should be avoided at all costs.

Nice but room needs attention
The customer service and location was fantastic. The room was clean and spacious and a balcony with a great view. Downside was only 1 power point worked in the whole room. Breakfast is terrible, it was buffet and food looked like it had been laying there for days. Bread was dry and not fresh, nothing looked fresh. Yogurt was warm. There are lots of lovely cafes nearby for breakfast. I would stay here again if the power points all worked but I wouldn’t pay for breakfast again.

Nothing worked, no amenities.
We had three rooms one couple left early because it was so bad. No WiFi, no room service, no dry cleaning service, tv didn’t work had to have. it fixed twice before it worked, hair dryer didn’t work, never worked or was replaced, desk lamp didn’t work, said they couldn’t fix it. They would just keep saying they were working on things, We were there for four days because all the other hotels were booked or we would have moved. All the amenities were on their site when I booked through Hotels.com. Rooms so small no room for clothes or luggage. Room was only cleaned once in four days. Never stay there.

Perfect oasis from the craziness of the city
Great stay. Room a little small but all else was excellent. Great getaway (quiet and serene) in the middle of the city! Perfect for Rome.

good place to stay.... 5-10 minute walk to trevi fountain and Spanish steps but away from the bustling crowds in those places and around the big piazzas. staff are lovely and very nice.very helpful too. very close to metro and lots of bars/restaurents/cafes. street is very busy.... our room on floor 1 faced the street...hard to sleep from the noise of the cars racing by day and night. (we found most cars do that in rome) ask for a room not facing the street. otherwise pleasant stay... breakfast has good variety, enough to get your day started.

I would not stay here again unless they updated the entire hotel. It was very outdated, a bit dirty (needing paint and carpet cleaning or new carpet) and door lock system was archaic, it was also a bit noisy at times due to other guests. Outside traffic noise was loud at times. The bathroom was pretty clean but again needed updating. I had no problem with the bed but my husband thought it was too hard. Housekeeping service was fine.

good decent hotel in a grate location
the hotel is in a very good location, across the street from palazzo barberini. 2 minuet's walk to fontana de trevi, 10 minuet's walk from via del corso, 15 minuet's walk to piazza di spagna. hotel rooms are nice and not very fancy. however, i recommend to reserve the superior rooms (we were moved to room 309 which was very good) avoid the junior suite at all cost! this is a room with a gallery and the bed is on the gallery level, you have to climb steep stairs to get to bed! we booked a superior room but' as we arrived late we had to take this junior suite (room 303) for 1 night which was uncomfortable and unpleasant! they moved us the next day to room 309 which was much nicer. the staff was friendly and helpful. breakfast was good with variety of food. room was clean and towels changed everyday.overall good hotel in a grate location

The room was not as represented in photos. Hotel was in need of updating. The Jr. Suite was a small living area with a steep stairway up to the loft with bed. 3 electric outlets in the suite. Stairway from street to lobby, no bellman or assistance with luggage available. 10 minute walk to Trevi fountain.

Nice Hotel in Rome
Not to much to say but nice Hotel. It is in a good part of Rome very close to all major attractions. The Trevi fountain is around 5 minutes away including the Spanish steps. The room was nice and clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was also very helpful and helped us out with anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again if we went back to Rome.

Convenient Central Location
If you are fit and keen walkers, this hotel is easily within brisk walking distance of all central Rome tourist hotspots - Trevi Fountain (10 min)/Spanish Steps(10 min)/Vatican and St Marks (30 min)/Partheon (15 min)/Colloseum (20 min) and is also fairly close to Rome Termini Railway Station (15 min). City sightseeing tours offering hop-on hop-off touring run from the bottom of the hill in Via Barberini, (5 mins). The hotel is on a busy city centre road and it would be best to have a rear room. We were fortunate to have been upgraded to a rear suite that looked out over Rome to St Marks Basilica. Three star hotel so don't expect the world - breakfasts were basic and unvaried but enough to give a good start for the day.

Well-located hotel near transportation but perched on a hill.
The room we had on the first floor was updated and comfortable, but the outside traffic noise was annoying. According to the front desk, the rooms in the back are quieter but smaller. The hotel is on a hill. At the end of a long day of sightseeing, this may be a big deal, depending on who you are! In general, the staff was not friendly. One person on the front desk was downright rude when I inquired about the possibility of changing rooms. The biggest plus: breakfast was generous with plenty of selection (eggs, bacon, pastries, fruit, cold cuts, cereal, juice, and variations on coffee).

The staff on reception were very helpful. Room and bathroom facilities good. Nice variety at breakfast. Situated just off a nice square with bars and restaurants, a short walk from Metro and Trevi Fountain and shops.....

Nice little hotel
Nice hotel within walking distance of all the must see sights. Our room was on the small side with not a lot of storage space but fine for a short stay( we were there 4 nights). Bathroom was fine, no bath but great shower & plenty of fluffy towels. Breakfast was fine, we never had to wait for a table & there was plenty of choice to set you up for a busy day sight seeing. The Hotel is located in the middle of a fairly steep hill.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable! The location was great, in walking distance to all the main tourist sites- we stumbled across the spanish steps accidently on the first night as didn't realise quite how close they were.

Location was excellent. Room was too small for 4 people. Mattress was a canoe. Head of bed under staircase. Could not unpack suitcase. Could not open out shutters to let natural daylight in, so room was very dark. One drawer and one tiny area of hanging space.

Positives 1. nice location near Trevi 2. good spread and quality of breakfast 3. eating joints nearby but doesn't matter much Negatives 1. very small room - the room was extremely small even if rooms of Italy hotels are generally small; we could not keep our bags nicely; the washrooms, the wardrobe and other amenties were discomforting. 2. little expensive but hotels of Rome are generally expensive The hotel gave us a bad vibe when we entered the room; as we were on a romantic leisure, my wife and I did not crib much about that. The bed was comfortable and nicely done, though.

a fine 3 star hotel
I think 3 star is adequate for this hotel. The condition of the hotel could certainly improve but for the price we paid, I think it was sufficient. The guided tour strongly recommended at the reception was too expensive.
