I paid for a room with a view, but when I arrived they said it would be 25 more euros. So, I had to pay more for what I have already paid for. They would not look at my reservation or verify how much I had paid or anything helpful.

Good evening Cynthia, we are sorry for reading this review. Our reservation are always verified before check-in and you actually booked a "Classic room with double bed or 2 single beds" which is not with Mountain View. Online we also have this room type: "Classic Double Room, Mountain View" that offer the view stated.Maybe there was a misunderstanding upon reservation and we are sorry for that.We hope you can give us another chance in the future.Kind regards.

A Gem of a Hotel
This is my first ever review, and my only complaint is I couldn’t give a higher score. This is a very small town, but the hotel is every bit of luxury you would find anywhere. Service as impeccable, restaurant for dinner and breakfast were outstanding, spa was unique and amazing and this is, without exception, the cleanest hotel I’ve ever seen in my life. We were visiting our college son across the street at the Italian school, this was such a pleasant surprise!

A fabulous little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant serves some very good food too and of course a great selection of wines. The only downside is the thin walls, you can here a lot of noise from adjacent rooms.

We chose this hotel because it was near my daughter's study abroad school. It was excellent! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and neat. The view of the mountains is beautiful! We ate at the restaurant and had one of our favorite meals in Italy. Both the food and the wine were amazing. Our server took pride in everything she did, from helping us with food selection to actually checking the cork and wine before serving us. We loved this hotel and highly recommend it.

Overall nice stay. The Air-Conditioning was not put on, even after informing the reception, hence we had to open the window and were disturbed by the vehicle's sound at night.

Nice hotel. Lovely room. Loved the terrace we had with the view of the mountains. Right next to CIMBA if you are visiting there.

Beautiful family run hotel
Our son attended the CIMBA program and we met him after the summer term. For such a small town, this was a wonderful hotel and would go back again.

Great hotel for a great price. There was AC in our room that we couldn't get to work. When we asked about it, we were told it was not available. We slept with the window open which was rather noisy since we were right above the traffic roundabout. Check in on hotels.com also says 2pm we were told we couldn't check in until 3 when we arrived.

Staff was excellent. Hotel is a very good value. If visiting CIMBA, this hotel is an outstanding choice. Local restaurants and grocery shopping is very limited in the area close to the hotel. There are a couple small family-run markets close to the hotel.

A central hotel for us who were visiting family in the area. We were able to have coffees in the cafe area and entertain excellent

We spent two nights at the hotel during the time of Marostica's famous chess game. We had good breakfasts at the hotel, but did not try dinners.

Great Little Hotel
They took very good care of our need to plan for our daughter who was traveling alone to study at Paderno del Grappa. They planned her transport from the Venice airport, knew her upon arrival, offered her breakfast while she waited for her room to be ready and were helpful in other ways. She had a room with a view and it was very clean and comfortable. We are very happy with this experience and only wish we could have been on the trip too! A seamless experience!

Quiet place in the foothills
I was looking for a quiet hotel near Bassano del Grappa but away from the hustle and bustle. I found it. Very nice place with a helpful, english speaking staff and the most comfortable beds around. I will stay there again when I want to explore the area and have some downtime from the crazy cities.

Our stay in Paderno del Grappa
The Hotel Giacomo was nothing but first class. Very convenient for our stay. We needed assistance with directions the following morning and the receptionist was very helpful, making sure we understood how to get from point A to point B. I would highly recommend this hotel.
