Hotel in transition

Posted Oct 17, 2017
This hotel was bought by Wyndham just a few weeks before our stay oct 15th, it seems. There were several leaks around the hotel, and absolutely none of the upgraded amenadies listed. The staff are either being retrained for their new management or are completely new, so they do not have the tools to help. This hotel needs to lower prices until it reflects the ammenedies it claims to offer. Also, the pool was open but definitely needs cleaning and maintenance. The hot tub was cleaner but not warm.

Sad rundown, worn out hotel

Posted Oct 14, 2017
Did not live up to the Wyndham Hotel brand. I was very disappointed in the overall experience. Other guests were rude, loud and always in hallway. Room was worn out and dirty. Workers were spackling my room door, while I was in room. Flies in dining room pushed it over the edge.

Location: Mainly just a big Corporation area with a lot of big and little restaurants up and down the street.
Hard to find and not that close to Philadelphia. When we got on the street and in the area of the hotel, you could just barely see the name Crown Plaza through the trees. Had several places to eat along the long street. Was not to far from Camden (Huge Drug Area) near Philly. When we checked in, we found out that their Cable was out and had been for 2 days (NO TV) was on the next morning however before we left. I personally requested a wake-up call for 8:30AM but got it at 2:17 AM instead and not at 8:30.

Hi Don, We are sorry you were not happy with your stay. We are not too close to Camden and much closer to Philadelphia only 13 miles. We are currently switching over from Crowne Plaza to Wyndham and renovating our property. We are sorry that it was hard to find.

Poorly done improvements and staff. Front desk ok.

Posted Oct 8, 2017
Pros: Front desk staff were very professional.
Cons: Quality of property improvements and train restaurant staff.
Breakfast was a disaster. Understaff and poorly trained. No food and utensils available for buffet. Incredibly bad - guest just walked out of the buffet.

Felt like we were sleeping in a basement, ice machine not working in our floor, fridge was not working so staff gave us bucket of ice, then someone came to fix the fridge and looked like it was finally working, but stopped working again, floors were dirty in our room and elevators and the air vent inside our room was very dirty. The main reason I booked the hotel was because of the indoor pool, but found out later after checking in already, that the pool was not working due to the lights/ electric issue.. Tried to cancel whole reservation but it was too many issues and I had planned all the schedule for my trip since I only had 3 days for vacation.. was just so frustrated with the hotel that I just gave up on spending more of my vacation time to call expedia and the hotel and other hotels.

Very disappointing/Hotel in transition?

Posted Sep 29, 2017
Pros: Not much- the staff at breakfast were super.
Cons: See the entire first paragraph- lots of things going wrong here.
Location: This is in a great location with many restaurants, amenities nearby.
The common areas of the hotel were not very clean/ neat. In my room were a list of cable and higher service tv channels laid out on the night stand (including HBO). My tv only had roughly 10 channels, no HBO, very little cable. It seems like they downgraded their package without letting the guests know. I had 3 free breakfast tickets laid out on the desk for the hotel, and after my room was cleaned the first day these tickets had disappeared. The pool was closed supposedly for electrical issues, but I'm thinking it was a monetary decision or lack of staffing. The elevators were a mess. I came back to my room at 6pm on my 3rd night there and my room still hadn't been touched/cleaned.
