The staff, pool and hot tub were all great. The facility itself is horrible. The parking lot is half unpaved with huge potholes. We loaded up a luggage cart with all our stuff and then were told we had a downstairs room and there is no elevator. We had to take multiple trips down the stairs with luggage and young kids. The room was tiny with just enough room to walk around the furniture. We got one rollaway bed and it barely fit in the hallway and we had to climb over it to get to the bathroom. The comforters had big stains on them and the beds were not comfortable. We woke up each morning with aching backs and necks. They give you 3 half sized pillows on a queen bed. The shower was actually pretty decent. The breakfast was terrible. The eggs were made from some kind of powder and tasted awful, the waffles looked good but tasted like plastic. I would not plan to eat the complimentary breakfast. The overall cleanliness was lacking. I can tell the staff are trying to keep everything clean but it is an old building that is dirty and worn down. My comment to my husband while there was “If we ever had a hotel where we found bed bugs…this would be it”.

Please clean! Look at the walls. Go in the bathroom in 318, close the door and wipe the big black handprint and all the other dirt off. The walls are dirty in the room. The staff was excellent and helpful.

Old property unlike the photos. Could not shut the bathroom door it would get stuck on toilet. Loud noises all night and in the morning the breakfaar area was a complete mess with no warm food and no milk for cereal. Worst stay!

I have so much to say but it won’t let me fit it all on here. So let’s begin with the lady at the counter I didn’t and still don’t trust her to walk off with someone’s credit card for at least 15mins is ridiculous. There fire alarm went off 5 times while being there one of which was while checking in. Also one at 9pm, 4am, and again at 7am. They charged me for a roll away bed which is bs because I paid for a room that was suppose to fit 5, 3 adults and 2 children. The room we paid for wasn’t available till the next day huge inconvenience to switch rooms! The 1st room would have never fit 5 of us it was so small. The room that we originally booked stunk so bad horribly for a matter of fact (the bigger room)! It smelled like mold or old wet dog, bathroom smelled like urine! Worst stay ever we will never ever book with them again! Just an overall dirty place not to mention there was dog poo on the floor going up and down the stairs! Never again! Staff was rude and disrespectful. I have never been so disappointed or disgusted in any of our stays!

Immediately after arriving the buildings fire alarm went off, blaring loud for several minutes. No explanation from staff. Apparently this has happened several times in the recent weeks. The hot tub was out of service. My room had other people's trash and other items in it when i got in to it. The breakfast was basically gone with apparently no more available when i arrived to get some 45 minutes before it was done being served. Overall not the best experience, but the bed was reasonably comfortable and the coffee was pretty good.

I wouldn’t stay here if it was free. This building needs a total overhaul. The halls smelled like a urinal cake, the entryway of the hotel like a bad sewer and the place is dirty.

Pros: location is NOT close to the train which is great because no horn in the middle of the night. (If you stayed in this area before you know what I mean) Microwave, mini fridge in room. Pool, free breakfast. Cons: NO elevator. Front desk at check was competent but not friendly at all. This location is old-the pictures posted must be when the place was new. We were on floor 1 which is below ground level. Our window was so dirty we couldn’t see outside.

The room itself was fine. However the outside of the windows were so dirty it was obscured the view; I thought it was foggy this morning and realized it was the windows. The facility is showing it's age but is adequate and the location is convenient for us. Parking is a snap with plenty available. There are two gas stations across the road and shopping and restaurants nearby.

The unit above ours had a window screen punched out and sitting in the ground in front of our unit. The bath tub facet was very loose to say the least.

Ok for the price, but can't really recommend it.
The bed is ok, but the pillows are awful. I had a reservation for 4 nights, but the clerk programed my key for only one night. On my second evening, I had my arms full with my dinner and some shopping, but the key didn't work, so frustrating! I had to take the stairs back down to the lobby (no elevator), to get it fixed. The franchise claims to be Green by not changing the towels everyday, but uses styrofoam extensively for the breakfast and lobby coffee. The breakfast food quality is very poor.

Linnea,I am sorry for any inconvenience you may have had with your stay. I do know that the room keys will quite working if they do get next to other electronics such as phones.We did have paper products for coffee and breakfast but we received comments with those as well because they weren't sturdy and the heat would go through them and burn the guests. We do have paper cups in the rooms for coffee still but guests would ask for the foam ones because they were to hot to hold,

Good would have been great if!
Overall it's was good but I got a suite and was advertised to have a spa tube sperate from the bathroom and it didn't even tho it says so in the details of the room on hotels.com which was the main reason I wanted the suite otherwise I would have gotten a standard room and saved an extra $40 on the room

My family and I really enjoyed our stay! The pool was very clean! Wonderful breakfast, items such as waffles, cereal, eggs, potatoes and sausage, variety of juice, yogurts and more! The room was cozy, big tv, the beds were great, the only thing was the pillows (very soft) next time we will bring our own. During the shower, the shower curtain doesn’t stay closed but great water pressure and hot. Our stay was quiet, clean, and excellent service! When we checked in, treated with respect and smiles. We will be back, thank you!!!
