It was nice and close to most places to shop and restaurants.the property was beautifully kept up. I found the bedding very clean and tiwels were supplied each day. I would most definitely stay here again.

We came to Johnson City to tour apartments in the area. We arrived later than expected due to my car’s battery going out, so that set us back about an hour than when we had planned to get there. Luckily we were stopped at a Love’s so someone was gracious enough to give us a jump, and I had realized that there was a Walmart within a mile and a half from the hotel, so that was amazing to find out. Check in was fine. We got to our room and it was spotless. My only complaint was that it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. I worked as a housekeeper in a hotel for a while, so I know firsthand that sometimes it’s hard to get the smell out once someone decides to not follow the rules and smoke in the rooms anyway. I cracked the door and turned the air on so it would air out for a bit and that helped a lot, we were all so tired from being in the car for so long that we just wanted to pass out in our beds. Everything else was fine though! Bed was clean and comfy. We didn’t get to go down and check breakfast out because we slept in. Check out was really easy too. My husband started my car with no issues in the morning so we didn’t have to worry about getting a jump or ubering to Walmart to get a new battery. Overall our stay was good!

No issues with the staff, they were all very nice! The main issue is the cleanliness of the room. There were stains on the bathroom floor and stains on the bedding. The mini fridge smelled horrible and didn’t keep things cold. Batteries hanging out of the fire alarm. Power outlet covers almost falling off the walls, and if you barely moved a cord that was plugged in it would very easily come unplugged. A lot of light shining through the window at night even with both curtains closed. The hotel rooms are very close to the main road so there was a lot of noise at night from traffic driving by.

This was a Christmas stay to visit family. Hotel lacks in area of cleanliness. Chocolate was on tv cabinet and hadn’t been cleaned. Paper particles were under bathroom sink area. Male manager not friendly and makes customers feel uncomfortable. I have stayed here four times recently. Lady clerk is much nicer and friendly towards customers.

Very clean. Quick check in. Only thing I ask for bottom floor and he gave me what he called bottom with 2 sets of steps. I have mobility issues and can't do steps. He was told. was almost in tears by Tim reached room.

Room smelly. Change towels was missed and we did not have a sign out on our door at all. Breakfast, coffee was out in an hour. They did not check on it and therefore no coffee. They had a person that came in and stacked his plate with 6 eggs, 4 biscuits , 2 bowl of cereal and 4 cups of sugar. Probably a homeless person.

We stayed at the Baymont in Johnson City Tn. for a weekend of racing. Great place, was just renovated and the prices was Amazing. We was late for the free breakfast and the lady held it open for us. The food was Excellent and the Staff was really Nice. We will be back again and again!

The first room we were given smelled of stale cigarette smoke, the ice container was left in the fridge with half used ice in it, and the toilet seat had pee on it and the toilet bowl had a ring around it. The second room smelled better and was cleaner although there was a used wash cloth left laying across the shower rod. The enclosed stairwell smelled of weed as well. The AC and TV worked. The microwave was unplugged and when we plugged it in it sparked so we unplugged it.

The place is ran by con artists, Julia closed up breakfast 10 minutes early and Kaleem refuses to run the place properly, so sad to see. Would never go back to recommend. There was one woman employee though who was extremely nice and thoughtful and she truly deserves the best. Tried to make every situation better regardless of her brainless employees.

First, I was really upset to find that I paid $90 some odd dollars for a room that was only $68 when we got there.... Then... There was no vending machines in working order and the one in the front office was "sold out" of every option. So at 3am, when I woke up and needed a drink, I had to drive down the street to a gas station. The fridge was about the size of a small moving box and on the floor. Under the sinks. As an older adult with back issues, it was not a comfortable position to use it. The room was clean, but the bed was seriously wore out and had a dip in the center where my husband and I rolled into each other all night. The breakfast was sad, to say the least. There was nothing really edible when we got there at 830. On Sunday, breakfast is from 7-10. Hard to eat when there's nothing there.... I could have stayed at a much nicer, newer, hotel in the area, for half the price. I won't stay there again

Disappointing, dirty.
The staff wasn’t personable. We were given a room facing the very close busy 5 lane highway at first. We asked for a quieter room. Maybe that’s not possible. When we entered our room, the spray used in the room was so strong,I was choking on it. We had to leave for a while to let it air out. The furniture had not been cleaned. It was dirty and sticky. I spilled a little something on the carpet. Using a rag to clean it up, it was black! Not from what I spilled, but from the carpet not being clean. Is it ever cleaned? There were fans from other rooms we could hear going off and on all night long. The microwave is so old, it doesn’t pop popcorn, it burns it. The refrigerator is so old, it doesn’t keep the drinks cool, even when placed in the teeny, tiny freezer section all night. We were also overcharged for the room. Which we will take up with the 3rd party we made the reservation with. No, we will not stay in a Baymont again. Motel 6 would have been better.

worst nightmare in Johnson City
our first room #416 was treated for bed bugs at least the smell was over powering. We did find bed bugs in the head board of one of the queen beds. We asked to be placed in another room and that one(#404) wasn't much better. We went to the room and the TV was on and bathroom light was on and it appeared that it was occupied. went back to the front desk and told them and the person went with us to the room and found it was unoccupied. this room was also a disaster. the bathroom door was falling off the hinges and the toilet leaked badly at the base when flushed. The toilet got so bad that it wouldn't flush at all. we were supposed to be at this hotel for 6 days but cut is it short as we could not stand it any longer. We contacted hotels.com to modify the length of stay and was on the chat line for 1 hour and 15 minute to get it changed. then the charge per night went from 186.00 per night to 448.00 per night. This was a real shock as i was told on the chat line there was no penalty for early checkout. So would not recommend anyone stay in this hotel and i will never use them again. there customer caring/service absolutely sucks!!!
