They failed to state they had construction going on inside of the hotel. So we were placed right in the middle of construction. The hotel smelled bad, it really affected our breathing. Also, i was told breakfast was complimentary, but they charged me for my daughter and i.

A/C - heater in room very loud. Loud in adjacent rooms, too. Toilet slow flush. Sink has 2 large cracks. Renovation going on in hallways, unappealing. Room rate too high. Check in was unfriendly, abrupt.

Bar was in great condition and decent food. The hotel side looked run down. Staff were helpful, but wouldn’t recommend staying here especially for the pricing.

Pills thrown in front lobby parking. Building run down there were stains on chair, mold on ceiling and on wall. One of the queen beds was not stable/broken. I don't feel like they should be charging a $200 deposit that takes 7-10 days to be reburse was needed for such a run down place

The staff were FANTASTIC. The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. (IT REALLY NEEDS IT!) I know it is tough remodeling when in use, but was disappointed that when I got moved to the older part of the hotel (due to a necessary extended stay) I didn't get a price break.

This building is old and run down. Part of the building is under construction. They said it was due to a broke water line, but looks like it has been like this for years. We had to walk through this area to get to our room. The room looks like it hasn't had any upgrades since the 1970's. My daughter said she felt like she was in a haunted house. This place looks nothing like the pictures and the rating as good should be changed to poor. My daughter and I looked at the room and went straight to the front desk and turned in our key and left. Was no way I was going stay in that building. As far as the outside, it is in desperate need of being painted and as we drove around the building there was a old bus parked in the parking lot with some guys walking around it that looked like they where on drugs. The area in general didn't seam like the best part of town. Bottom line is it was not a place I wanted to stay at and definingly didn't want my 13 year old daughter staying there. Oh... And part of why we booked it was because it said it had a pool and my daughter wanted to swim and the pool was not operable and I saw nowhere on the website that it said it wasn't open. This was the first time that I have ever checked into a motel and left without staying. Not a good experience at all and would strongly recommend booking there. Lesson learned that if the rating is Good then stay away.

It looks like some remodeling is being done which is good because the hallways and carpets look rundown. Also my grandson went out and look at the pool and stepped in a big pile of dog poop. Had to throw away his shoes and go buy new ones.

I checked in went to my room. used the bathroom. immediately knew that I could not stay at this hotel. I did not feel comfortable or safe here. I went to the front desk and told them I didn't feel safe there and would not be staying. They charged me 100 dollars for the few minutes I was there and checked me right back out. I found a much nicer hotel in a much nicer location. I don't think I will ever stay at a red lion again. It felt like there were homeless people loitering inside the hotel. The hotel felt dirty and unsafe. my room window did not even latch completely closed.

Stayed at this property many times and it seems each time the rooms are getting worse. This past stay the shower faucet was coming right out of the wall. Front desk said renovations are happening now which will eventually be nice.

After checking in we went to have a drink ( not even 9pm) we were Rudely told (yelled at) were closed. The sign said open until 10, and we just wanted to have a drink and go back to our rooms. There were several men sitting at the bar talking the the bartender.. but she couldn’t serve us!? The neighbourhood R.Robin was also a joke.. filthy and staff looked like they just rolled out of a dumpster! We won’t Ever stay here again.. it’s outdated and they say restaurant and bar.. but that’s just a bold face lie- bottom line; keep looking for something better!

i really do love staying at this place But this last time i was very disappointed….the housekeeper came to our room and had started cleaning it and we had food and bags from the mall and other things within the time of us leaving the room to bring our car closer to unload our can and checkout, it was around 9am and i’ve tried calling many times to talk with someone. please resume in wanting to still stay while i have these work trips. thanks.

This place is kinda a dump , the room was pretty clean but everything smelled like cigarettes. Sketchy on the outside , no actual sign of the hotel on the building. Lady bent over on a chair chain smoking right at the door to enter . Would not stay again.

Poor signage, after dark. No amenities, food snacks. Desk clerk made no effort to welcome us, or provide additional information. No blankets in the room. Parking lot was dark and didn’t feel safe or welcoming. The property was tired, not particularly clean , dark and worn out in so many ways. This was not what i have historically experienced from “Red Lion” properties.

Price was a good deal, but the property was borderline frightening. Flickering lights in the hallways, fans and heater were extremely noisy and smelled burning. Dingy linens and lumpy pillows.

Apparently there's been some massive water leak in the hotel because the hallways and the conference area were covered in enormous fans and dehumidifiers, blasting away at top volume, and the hotel smelled like a swamp. The room itself was fine, nothing to write home about. I stayed for a couple days and then my plans changed and I needed to stay an extra day. So I went to the front desk and asked them to extend my stay by a day. They said that because this was booked through Expedia, they couldn't do that. I clarified that they had rooms available. They did, and just said that I'd need to check out, then check in and book a new room. Just to be clear: they literally expected me to pack up the stuff in my room, carry it down the hall to the lobby, go through the check out process, then book a new reservation, presumably in the exact same room, then carry all my stuff back to my room. As a dude with back issues and chronic pain, that's absolutely ridiculous. That is a shocking lack of customer service. These people will burn in the fires of the afterlife for their insolence.

Joseph, when you were told that you needed to check out and back in again, you didn't need to carry your stuff to the lobby and then back to your room. It is hotel policy not to extend prepaid reservations, hence why you were told you needed to book the room again. When you book the same room type, you just need to come to the desk with your ID, CC and keys. Nothing more. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you and we hope our insolence won't perturb you from staying with us again. Thank you for your feedback.
