Close to shopping and entertainment, our Labrador is always welcome and made over, and the staff is second to none!!

The kids and I have stayed a couple times. We forgot the old cold pool the second time. But the breakfast is satisfying. Room works. TV is small, like 26". The Hilton next door is probably worth the increase spend.

Too Expensive!

Because there was an event in town, they jacked their rates to $177 a night. Not only is it completely wrong for them to take advantage of people just because they are booked but this isn't a $177 dollar a night hotel!!! If I am paying $177 plus tax for a room for ONE night, I want it to be nice. Here, the rooms are small, decor is plain and the toileries might as well be from the Dollar Tree.

Due to the time of year it was a busy week and weekend here in the tri-cities with conventions and sport tournaments which cause all of the hotels in the area to get sold out. not welcomed

we did not felt welcome to the area. I am a property manager and I totally did not felt the customer service for being a newer hotel. we arrived at the Columbia first and they we're so welcome and friendly and very helpful. the one on youngs ave was just not what I was expecting. when I left the hotel for our event that evening I left the AC on and when I came back it felt like I left the heater on. Being 8 months pregnant I had the worse night ever. no one told us breakfast was from 6:30am to 9:30am once again because the front desk never inform us. my 3 year old was so sad because she was looking forward to have f breakfast at her first time staying at a hotel.

Clean hotel; Great breakfast; Relaxing aquarium

Pros: The aquarium in the lobby was really neat. The breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and very comfortable.
Cons: The handicap accessible shower soap dispenser on the shower wall was too high for someone who could not stand, and also the shower head was too high.
Location: We only stayed one night and did not explore the surrounding area.

Pet Allergies

Cons: Keep rooms for people with pets separate, especially cats. Cat dander is really hard to get rid of.
I did not realize that there had been animals in my room until I started wheezing and sneezing when I went back to my room after dinner to go to sleep. There must have been cats in my room previously.... thank goodness for allergy medication!
