Great location across the street from the castle. Great restaurant. The room was spacious.
The rooms are fine (although starting to show their age; our bathroom had some issues in the shower) and the location is great, but the rooms overlook the courtyard which is the outdoor area for the pub. Nice if you are in the courtyard, but not so great if you actually want to get to sleep before ...
Very happy with my stay at this hotel. Located very near town centre. Room was small but it had everything that you need. Breakfast was included in the price. Would stay here again.
Amazing ! By far one of our favorites. Really got a lot of value for the money. Onsite bar. Light bites room service all night. No charge for delivery to room! Our en-suite even had jacuzzi tub. Amazing breakfast. Amazing facility. Can’t say enough nice things about it.
Very spacious. I think there should be at least 5people
Absolutely beautiful house and gardens. Great location. Very friendly staff.
Nice rrom, great breakfast, friendly hosts. All rooms are on the 2nd floor by way of a narrow staircase - not recommended for those with significant mobility issues.
I think this was the strangest place I've ever stayed. It has a lot of promise - tucked quietly away in a remote corner of a small town off the beaten path. But I could hardly get anyone to check me in and I had to come stand by the front desk to get ANY wi-fi at all. The lady at the desk agreed ...
Walk back into the mists of time at Trim Castle.
It can be found in Trim, 25 miles from Dublin.
You won't need to fret about finding a room. There are 3 in the immediate vicinity. The Knightsbrook Hotel Spa & Golf Resort and Trim Castle Hotel are definitely good candidates, and are only 2 miles from Trim Castle.
A great place to spend your vacation, for those not looking to splurge, is the Castle Arch Hotel. This hotel is just 0.4 miles away, too.
Enjoy a caffeine fix and give in to your sweet tooth at Old Bridge Tea Rooms. Sitting just a short walk from Trim Castle, it's a wonderful place to have a rest from all that sightseeing. Another fabulous local establishment where you can eat something more substantial is Franzinis. If you're not ready to head back to the hotel, venture to James Griffin Pub.
