Comfortable, Nothing Special

Posted Apr 17, 2017
We stayed for a total of 3 nights. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were fine, though the bathrooms were a bit smelly. The hotel in general is pretty nice, it has a great view overlooking the city and the staff are excellent. Be warned breakfast is $27 per person before service and tax. Nothing special, but nothing really wrong with it either.

The room was very nice and the staff was wonderful. The hotel restaurants were extremely expensive $30 per person for breakfast

Pros: nice location
Cons: notices to state if changing schedule of restaurant openings as well as public pool times more appropriate times for room cleaning
-Room wasn't cleaned until after 5pm during majority of stay and when we went down to the pool to wait, it was filled with a lot of non-guests and extremely noisy and was more of a public pool than a quieter hotel pool. -Not a lot of options for food and no notice of early closure of restaurants. Had decided to go for a late dinner to the Sushi restaurant with multiple signs stating it was closed at 11pm. At 10pm when we went, the restaurant was closed and we were forced to eat at the same more expensive restaurant as the night prior, which didn't even have the specials available anymore for us to order. -Was told rooms sold out and no availability for upgrade (as Hilton Honour member we are entitled to), yet we were told restaurant closed early because it was slow and no one there, again despite signs stating it was opened late. -Lots of construction during the time of our stay

Hi thank you for staying with us. We appreciate you sharing your comments so that we can address your concerns. The sushi restaurant is actually privately owned and not handled by the hotel. We do apologise for the issues you experienced with the pool as well as with the cleaning of your room during your stay. We do hope that you will visit us again soon.

The hotel suited me for what we wanted.. clean, very friendly and courtesious staf. The Buffett style breakfast was excellent. I would stay there again. Their wifi service was not that great for me But other family members got good service.

Food poisoned

Posted Mar 7, 2017
I was intentionally good poisoned after confronting staff about a food dispute I had. The staff was upset and came back with my food. I had a fever of 105 and was taken out the hotel in a wheelchair cuz I could not walk. Chills fever craps and barely keep my eyes open because of how weak I was. Hotel had nerve to say I might have been faking cuz I came back from hospital with a small subway sub because I haven't ate the entire day and was starving.

Hilton at Carnival

Posted Mar 6, 2017
Pros: convenience
Cons: the room had a musty spell and more food options would have been appreciated.
It was a carnival experience - being so close to the Savannah it was a little too noisy, you felt the base of the music and the glass rattling

Wonderful Staff and Great Location

Posted Mar 2, 2017
Pros: Staff, mid-century design, rainforest setting
Cons: Pool area needs a spruce-up
Location: Walking distance to Queen's Park Savannah, downtown and other neighborhoods
I really enjoyed the hotel. The location was great -- close to downtown, but not right in the center, and with a jungle-rainforest setting. The pool area was a little shabby; it definitely could use some spiffing up, but it was comfortable and had just enough lounge chairs etc. What I loved most were the wonderful, friendly staff and the mid-century aesthetic. Overall, it was a really nice experience.
