The only exits from the building were from the front door and back patio. We were on the 2nd floor and near an exit door except it said out of order and was boarded up. We are elderly and asked if we could move to the first floor or nearer to the front of the building. The person at the desk was extremely rude in their response of no. We stayed here but cannot reccomend for safety reasons.

Wow to their staff. The room was decorated well and it was really clean, towels folded in designs like a 5 star resort they were so kind to us including our dog.

The shower faucet was loose, the parental control was set on the TV & codes we were given to remove it didn’t work. We were on the first floor and we could hear the conversations and people walking walking above us at 2am. Pillows were not great. We didn’t sleep all that great due to noise factors. We have stayed here before and it’s was not as good of an experience this time.

A disappointing Holiday Inn. Very, very basic room for 3 people. Lots of room for a small table and a couple of chairs but had only 1 king bed and 1 small sofa bed which we had to seek out bedding for

Holiday inn in express has certain expectations like nice clean rooms, new buildings and good breakfast. This place is an old building franchised to IHG hotels group. This is a pet friendly hotel. So one would expect staff to clean it properly. We had pet hair on the sofa. I am sure someone forgot to clean it. I could easily pick them up with my hands. The front and the lounge is old and does not look modern. When you spend more than $150 dollars per night you would expect more. The bedding was neat and clean though. Bathroom looks old. Gym is there to tick a box. The kitchen was understaffed and the equipment broken, so we got served cold omelets (frozen omelets could not be properly warmed). Scrambled eggs were not there. Also got charged $10 more per guest for breakfast which we did not have. Overall disappointed with HolidayInn express brand for marketing properties that do not meet customer expectations or standards.

I was disappointed by the condition of the property it was below the standard. I am accustomed to with Holiday Inn express my shower did not drain adequately and the carpet was torn and their fix was to put clear tape over it. Disappointing with summit up.

We stopped for the night before continuing on to Colorado. They are updating and the pool was closed. This didn't affect us but might have been a surprise to others. The staff was helpful and with updating I think this will be a great place to stay.

A major consideration of booking this hotel was the indoor pool. Upon arriving, was informed that the pool was being renovated. Certainly understandable, but you should inform guests of this prior to booking. Hotel is a bit worn compared to other Holiday Inn Express hotels in region. Sounds like they are working on upgrades, which will improve the hotel. Breakfast was fine, and on par with other Holiday Inn Express locations. Room was slightly loose, noticeable hair in multiple locations throughout the room.
