I like the location of the property. I did not like the room. It is too old, small and bathroom shower drain was clogged and not draining well. Mentioned twice to front desk and saw no change. Room key kept malfunctioning and had to keep asking for a new one. I love the pool and shower area and the grounds. Staff in dining area for breakfast were very nice. I would not stay in room 393 ever or would recommend. Don't like facing the back of the hotel.

On your previous stay, you booked the Standard Queen and were given a complimentary upgrade, however, we are unable to guarantee a complimentary upgrade when you stay at our hotel. Very nice pool and Koi fish pond. Had a great meal nearby at Creole Kitchen. Few minutes walk from Magnificent 7 sights. Take caution when crossing streets…traffic can be a bit risky at times.

The location is great, allowing you to be close to all the action at the Savannah. Every single staff member I encountered was helpful and friendly. Room and amenities were decent and I have no complaints in that regards. The only negative was the poor breakfast options. But again the staff were helpful and at least willing to acquiesce small requests.

Kapok hotel is a lovely hotel without being pretentious. In my opinion it’s the best located hotel in Port of Spain. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the staff is friendly and courteous. Further, the rates are moderate. The local breakfast served is divine.

Clean, quiet & comfortable room, friendly & helpful staff, who went out of their way to accommodate my requests. Good views on all sides of the building, although facing the Savannah will always be exceptional. Good dining options from top floor restaurant (with fantastic views over Port of Spain), to the cafe on the ground floor. Will stay again & again.

Fine. Handy for the zoo and botanical gardens.
1 a.m. booking and 1.40 a.m. check-in due to a cancelled flight, so it was a big relief to get a room and checked in quickly.

Choose to stay at the Kapok Hotel for an event I attended. It was my first experience but a really good one. The staff is fantastic. From the parking attendant to the wait staff, everyone was welcoming and accommodating. The food and drinks exceptional. I experienced a high standard of service...Overall, great place to stay!

This property is centrally located and it is within a short distance of a shopping center. It is also close to transportation. I highly recommend this property for its location and easy access to food and shopping.

Stayed several times - love the ambience and breakfast selections. The only issue is that you barely get hot water in the shower on evenings mainly - I assumed it may be because more people are using it then. Overall though - nice hotel & will always do it once home in my country.

this time i got the room 589 its on right side of hotel all was good only generator noise was terrible as i dont use AC so nxt time i would like my room to be on left side facing pool will be gr8 ,Rest i left my v expensive toothpaste which i didn't got back when i called hotel from airport they said they will let me know but no response till today
