Disappointment

Location: Location was good for what we were doing
This motel is nothing like the pictures, the hallways smelled like mildew/mold and were under construction. We checked in hoping to have a few drinks at the motel bar but when we asked about the bar the staff said Oh the bar has been closed for a long long time. I would not recommend this motel, just go across the street and stay. The staff could not answer the hand full of questions I asked, like where the light switch was? The motel is also very dark, I'd say only half the lights were on.

The hotel was clean, great breakfast, near small town restaurants. The lake Trinidad was near the hotel and had beautiful views surrounding the hotel if you like to explore.

Our Stay

Pros: The Lady at the front desk who heard the whole thing as she was very concerned(Sofia) she apologized and was sad we would not return.
Cons: Fire JoJo AND Your Manager!!!!
Location: This was not a Pleasure Trip.
Our stay was fin3e till the day before we checked out.. We were in Colorado tending to a close friend of the family who has cancer and was in his last days... Had Passed Tues nite. That nite we left the card on the door so we could sleep and not have a knock on the door...when we left..there was a lady in the hallway with a vacuum and she saw me remove the card and I asked her to tell the people cleaning to do our room.. The Room Was NEVER Cleaned ..we got back wed nite nothing done in the room...I called the front desk and told the person who answered ...she said I can bring the bedding I told her it was too late(10pm)so she said she will tell Mgr. Thursday morn I spoke with the people cleaning and avdvised our room was not cleaned the day before and not to forget today...The cleaner JoJo said the card was on the door ...I told him it was not...he said it was..i said it was not ..he said it was I said it was not... I said are you going to argue with me or clean the room..he kept mumbling something so I asked the other cleaner his name and went to front desk and asked for the manager.. the manager came out and I explained the situation about her staff arguing with paying guests..he came over and started the argument right there with me in front of the manager...All the manager said was ill talk to him..what kind of customer service was that..i told her she just lot a return customer and I will NEVER stay here again nor recommend this place...extremely poor customer service ..

Staff was extremely helpful to our large group and multiple rooms! They even gave us a late check out!

Visiting Family From Out Of State

Stayed at the Quality Inn in Trinidad for three nights. Nice room with plenty of space for an extended stay and the price was reasonable over other choices in the area. Had a little trouble with toilet not working, but the hotel response was fast and had it fixed in the blink of an eye. I would definitely stay here again.

Good Rest Stop

Nice Motel

Pros: location. swimming pool and hot tub.
Location: close to downtown Trinidad and its restaurants, museums and shopping. Walmart is a block away. Directly off I-25.
Staff is very friendly, went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Motel is located off of I-25, far enough back from the highway to eliminate a lot of traffic noise. Parking is very convenient. Downtown Trinidad is nearby, with restaurants, museums and shopping.
