I rang about a month after I booked and two weeks before I stayed and asked for a room with a view. They said no problem. It was a pretty ordinary view, three floors above the ground and set well back. Almost as if someone was taking the piss. Very small room too. Not what I expected.

A great stay, only complaints were that couch was not very comfortable for watching tv, no Netflix available, and kitchen area was not well stocked with staples like salt and pepper or oil for cooking. Most self contained units supply these things, also only several coffee pods for a week stay is mot sufficient, they should be replenished daily at no charge. Polite staff and well maintained facilities made up for that. Also great convenient location

The staff were all excellent considering they had all been through a cyclone and floods themselves. From reception housekeeping and maintenance every one of them were happy and genuinely caring and professional The only fault was one elevator was not working but this was not anything anyone could have fixed at the time

Mantra is excellent location, the property itself presents as resort style. Room was clean however condition was somewhat average paint on walls terribly marked also curtain in bedroom badly stained these little fixes would rate the Mantra more highly.

The stay was fine and it’s walking distance to many places. The rooms are sadly very sparse with furniture and dated. The bed sheets were too small for the bed and our feet were on the mattress topper. The glass on the sliding door windows did not have a decal midway and I walked into the glass and ended up with a bruised face for most of my holiday. We had a slightly windy day and a ashtray blew off an outdoor table on a balcony and shattered over the head of a lady sunbathing a few feet from me at the pool. The staff told us it has happened a few times before, but have done nothing to prevent the issue. The limited staff on site were polite and accommodating. They need more than 4 hangers in the cupboard. Best thing about this hotel was the shower, brilliant water pressure.

Fantastic location and great amenities. Rooms are very spacious and were clean and tidy. Kitchen is well stocked with utensils to prepare meals (but nothing in the pantry) Only drawback is the quite limited parking spaces. As it was, we only found 1 afternoon where we couldn't find a space during a week's stay. But it brought a bit of anxiety as there were no guarantees each time you entered the carpark

Nice apartment, good pool and great central location. Could do with a few more hangers and facilities in room (stuff to wash up our cups as no housekeeping) and a few more loungers round the pool would be nice, but overall a decent place to stay.

We were so disappointed with our stay at the Mantra Trilogy, our room smelt of urine and was constantly damp. The carpet was absolutely filthy, worn down and stained, along with the lounge. The overall feel of the room was dirty and dated. The facilities of the hotel were also dirty, the pool was murky and not to a standard that I’d be comfortable swimming in. For the cost of this hotel, the quality of the place is appalling. There are so many better quality hotels in the area for at a better price.

Everything was great except the rubbish removal, would have been good to be able to have rubbish and dirty towels removed throughout my stay, Also parking could have been an issue, I ended up parking out the front for the duration, within the complex but not in what would be deemed a long term parking space

We haven’t stayed at the Mantra Trilogy for a long while. The location & facilities are still excellent, the staff are lovely. The only downside is the rooms were tired & noisy (by lift & pool).

High quality hotel in an excellent position right on the Esplanade. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Only slight gripe is shortage of parking is a minor hassle if you can't get one in the building.
