Clean, comfortable and friendly

Posted Dec 9, 2015 on Hotels
Had a very comfortable 2-night stay, with a clean and comfortable room with what was probably a recently renovated bathroom. The staff were friendly, breakfast was appreciated, and the hotel is very close to the Porte de Saint-Cloud for the Metro (line 9, just inside zone 1), local buses, and a variety of restaurants and bars.

Great little hotel for a two night stay in Paris.

Simple, clean, incredible staff and great location tucked away from the very centre of Paris. Close enough to grab a bike and get anywhere a tourist might want to go in around half an hour, quicker with the metro that's super close. Lovely restaurants just around the corner. Nothing fancy but well worth the money and I have not met friendlier and more helpful staff anywhere!

Great hotel, perfect location for the French Open

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: The staff and the decor.
Cons: The walls are a little thin so you could hear any noise out in the corridor but there was hardly any noise during our stay.
Location: Close to Roland Garros, and a great price during the French Open!
The staff could not have been more friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size and was clean with a lovely decor. Only slight problem was our toilet leaked a little, but as we were barely in the room, this was not a problem. Close to the metro (approx 2 min walk away), and about a 15 minute walk from Roland Garros. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants nearby. If you're looking for a hotel with lots of character and wonderful staff, I would definitely recommend Hotel Murat.

Basic but clean

Very basic hotel. Not a great area of Paris. Staff pleasant and hotel room was clean. Close to Roland Garros Stadium, reason for the trip.

Perfectly acceptable - the quality of bread at breakfast has improved since some of the previous reviews! Now good, nice croissant too.
