Very comfortable family run apartment

Posted Sep 15, 2017
Pros: The family Buble were very helpful and welcoming. Their spoken English was very good. We were well looked after.
Location: Very convenient for Split airport, and Medena Beach is a short walk away from the apartment. Trogir old town is very picturesque.
This apartment was quite close to the old part of Trogir, so very convenient for the bus station, and the promenade where there are numerous cafes and restaurants. The owners of the apartment live next door, and were very hospitable and informative about what to do and see. Their English is excellent, as is the case in all the shops and cafes. Trogir old town was about a 7 minute walk along the road, and accessed through a lovely street market. The old town is a wonderful maze of car-less narrow streets, with plenty of interesting shops and cafes. The bus station is on the main road, and buses can be taken along the coast road to Split to the south for 21 Croatian kuna (about £3). This bus (no 37) also passes the airport, which is only 7 minutes away from Trogir. To the north a bus journey to Primosten and Sibenik is also well worth trying. We were really pleased we had chosen Trogir to stay in. The apartment itself has a very comfortable double bed, an ensuite toilet and shower room, and a small kitchen unit with sink, two plate stove, a fridge, electric kettle and cutlery and crockery for two. There was also a TV tuned to BBC world service (especially for us!), a table and two chairs, as well as a small balcony with a table and chairs. It was very cosy, and perfect for us to breakfast in before going out for the day. There is a very good value Pizza Restaurant next door, Coccolo, which we dined in a couple of times, and plenty of restaurants to choose from in Trogir itself.

Fantastic room and host

Posted Jul 4, 2017
We arrived at 10pm and as I had great communication with the host beforehand we had arranged for this to be ok. The host was waiting on the front for us when we arrived helped with bags and showed us to a very clean room. Perfectly equip with what is needed. It's just a short walk to the old town on Trogir island where there are lots of cafes restaurants and ice cream places. I hope the rest of the trip has wonderful hosts and rooms like this

Great stopover point for airport. Helpful owner

Great hotel for use for stays near airport. Arranged very reasonable airport transfers with the owner who couldn't have been more helpful. 5 min walk to old Trogir which is well worth the trip. Room was small but fine.

Pros: The hosts
Cons: Nothing
Mirela and Niksa were extremely good and very kind hosts. Mirela picked us up from the airport and Niksa very kindly drove us to a local beach. Trogir is a lovely place to visit.

Best Croatian stay

Posted Aug 10, 2015
Our stay was great, the owner invited us up to his balcony and made espresso and juice while he did the paperwork. He offered advice and places to eat in Trogir and was spot on. Went as far as giving us a lift to the airport in the morning.. A genuinely nice guy will stay again if I'm ever in Croatia.
