Older, but well-maintained hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to many interesting sites, restaurants, shops, etc. Our room was quiet (on the top floor) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Location: The location was great! Centrally positioned
Highlight was the pool. It was entertaining with good music and drinks but was surprised that it also served as a public pool

Bad beds, paper thin wall ... dissapointing

Pros: location
Cons: bed matress, bed frame, sheets, insulation betweens walls
We had 2 rooms, 5037 & 5034 on business floor. The bed in 5037 was broke in the middle ( foundation / base problem i would assume ). It was an end of the hall room and bed was toward the exterior wall of building so noice was ok.. or room next door was unoccupied / empty. They could not move us to a room with non broken bed as hotel was full. Room 5034 , bed was ok but sheets on both rooms were not fitted sheet, making them all looses as soon as you sat down on bed. We taught the phone was ringing in the room and were trying to pick up with the 2 phones we could see in the room. Turned out, it was the phone next door.. and we could hear their conversation .. Was also told they had no connecting room at hotel when booked and inquired , but 5034 had what looks like a connecting door in that room . Location is good, directly downtown , but would not go back because of comfort.

Location: The location is great because from here you can visit Montreal and Quebec City easily.
Unfortunately the internet connection of the hotel didn't work during our stay and we had to go elsewhere to communicate via internet. We also had a problem with the toilet in our bathroom, but it was fixed immediately fixed by the hotel staff.

Pros: that the room key gave us access to parking garage; location
Cons: corridors need updating, functioning elevators.
Location: right downtown close to bars/restaurants - easy walking distances.
Not a bad location/hotel. A tad dated decor wise. Had problem with elevator with only one functioning on a busy day. Tried to go to the pool but there seemed to have a party going on what with loud music. Was not relaxing so did not stay. Next time I will check to see if BnB available. May be cheaper...

Park and walk

Pros: Easy walking distance to stores, parks and great restaurants; The hotel restaurant was very good as well and had an inexpensive dinner menu/special.
Walking distance to St. Lawrence River where I went on a 1.5 hour boat tour. I'm happy I did this because I was able to see the three rivers where Trois Riviers got its name and other places to visit. After the boat tour I took my car to Notre Dame--well worth the 20 minute drive because the church and the grounds are very beautiful. I also toured neighbourhoods to get a feel of the city. Easy to navigate. The service industry is very comfortable speaking English.

Overall ok, except for a couple of things...

Pros: There is a nice pool and the hotel is conveniently located
Cons: The wi-fi should reach EVERYWHERE in the hotel, and all the guests should have free breakfast (not a max of 2 per room)
The overall experience was ok, the room was clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful, however, we couldn't connect to the wi-fi, because our room was located too far. Also, even if we registered 3 guests, we only got 2 breakfast coupons for the next morning. This is dissapointing because when we booked the room, it mentioned that breakfast was included and wi-fi was free in each room, and both of these statements ended up to be only half-true.
