Our stay at this location was excellent but what we loved the most was the daily breakfast as it was delicious! In addition the location was excellent as we could get to every tour, restaurant, or shopping area we needed to within a short walk.

Nice hotel in the Center of the city. Really easy to get to the shops and restaurants, also really easy to get to the nearing points for different activities. Lovely stuff. Really nice breakfasts.

Small but clean rooms. Good luck if you have more than a small suitcase! Comprehensive breakfast spread (included in rate booked). Expensive for what you get, but expected for the location.

Lovely staff, comfortable beds and in walking distance of pretty much everything. The breakfast was seriously stunning too! Great variety and options. I even spotted a dedicated Celiac breakfast station.

Completely bog standard city break hotel. Made memorable by most of the reception staff - except the nice guy who checked us out this morning. Otherwise the desk staff raised indifference to an art form !

The hotel is in a good location in city center. We can walk to many restaurants and stores in 5 minutes. The room is a little small but it has everything we need. Staffs are friendly and can be reached 24 hours. We had a great time there.

Lovely and cozy hotel with delicious breakfast!
We loved this hotel! The breakfast we delicious, and definitely in line with a 4- or 5-star hotel. The free tea and coffee in the lobby and in the room made the stay extra cozy. The location was also great. With that said, our room was quite small, but that wasn't a problem for us at all. We were unfortunate to get a room that didn't have any sort of view (there was another building about 4 meters away), so ask about the view when you check in.

Comfortable hotel in heart of Tromso
Clean and comfortable hotel in centre of Tromso, close to airport bus stop and amenities. Whale watching and othe trips. Substantial breakfast and as added bonus light meal served monday to thursday. Coffee also available on foyer. Welcoming and helpful staff.

This was a fabulous base for seeking the northern lights and exploring the local area. We slept very well all three nights of our stay, and found the room to be pleasantly arranged for the most part. The breakfasts and light dinners were perfect and a wonderful addition to our stay, so we would highly recommend bundling those in. There were plenty of choices for all palates and the coffee options were plentiful as well and very tasty. We only had a couple of quibbles with our room. First, there was no power point close to the bed, so if you need to use a CPAP it's a bit challenging. The only power point we found that would accept our power converter was hidden behind the desk and under the radiator, and we had to use a boot to keep our power converter plugged in. This worked but was clunky, and the adaptor provided by the front desk did not help. Second, there are a couple of hooks on a coat rack hanging on the wall where the luggage rack is stored when not in use. We were lucky to escape tearing a jacket pocket or pants pocket on them, but really a bit inconveniently placed. Otherwise we found the accommodations delightful and would recommend the Thon Hotel chain in general after staying at a sister property in Oslo. Great value and wonderful food, we would stay again without hesitation.

The hotel was in a great location for all that Tromso had to offer. The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the rooms were spacious with plenty of storage. There were multiple charging points in the rooms. The included breakfast had plenty of choice, there was something for everyone. I loved the heated floor on the bathroom. If I go to Tromso again I would definitely stay at this hotel.

Great hotel!
Overall we had a wonderful stay of 5 nights. We did choose a superior room so I would imagine that helped. The bed was very comfortable as was our room and the staff were for the most part very helpful, friendly and accommodating. The breakfasts were excellent with an abundance of choice. We did receive a voucher for one complimentary light evening meal which was adequate but could have provided a little more choice. Overall, a brilliant stay and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Good all round hotel.
2nd stay, comfortable rooms, good central location with bus stops quite near. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent with a good selection. Coffee available all day in the reception area. There is a light dinner in the evening, soup mainly. Plenty of supermarkets, restaurants and bars nearby. Would highly recommend.

Great value and service
This surprising hotel was all that we wanted and more. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room was small but comfortable and clean. As well it had good storage options. They have a nice breakfast that is worth the option. They had a free dinner one night and it was simple but tasty, soup and choice of breads and deli items. The only confusion is that they don't offer dinner every night, and some guests were upset about this. Not to worry, though, there is a very good sushi bar on the corner.

Not-too-expensive hotel at the edge of central Tromsø. One problem is that the town is infested with seagulls, and the round-the-clock daylight means they are always calling to one another, every few minutes, 24 hours a day--hard to sleep. The staff was very helpful with our lost luggage saga, and the related issues.

Tromso was a great place to visit. The hotel was a disappointment, the outlets to charge phone and iPad did not work in room, therefore spent a lot of time in lobby charging devices. The staff was quite cold and not very friendly. They seemed to be more interested in looking at computer versus speaking to guests coming and going. My check in guy was very nice and let me check in before stated time. Overall experience was similar to a sketchy motel in the US and not the quality of service I experienced throughout the rest of Norway for two weeks. Would not recommend staying here or with Thon hotels…ie…the motel 6 of Norway. Stay at the Raddison Blu, great bar and friendly staff, I worked out of their location due to Thon being less than impressive.

All I'll say is if you are black or someone of colour just avoid, or else beware. I stayed for 2 nights with my nephew, we came over to see the northern lights, but someone called the police on us! apparently we were suspicious. I dont know how - we checked in and had breakfast like everyone else, except whilsts black. Anyways, 2 cops knocked on my door and explained that they need to see our IDs which we duly complied and they left. I then went down to the reception to find out what happened and i met the same cops there, they told me they wanted to be sure we hadn't broken the covid quarantine rules. That's weird as when they came to my room they did not say that and they had walked in without protection and were happy to come close to me even though they thought i was a covid risk!!!. I believe the hotel called them on us but they wouldn't admit it. I won't know why and am now left to speculate - 2 black tourists is a little suspicious for this hotel workers. On a positive note we saw fantastic dancing northern lights.....

Altogether perfectly OK. Nice check-in/out, friendly staff. Small-ish room, but fine for 1 person. More expensive than one might expect, but relatively little competition to help drive down prices. Great location.

My flight was delayed to next day, to Trimso and hotel said they only charged to Expedia for 2 days, i booked 3 days, Feb 26 to Feb 29. They said the refund of one night will sent back to Expedia. The cleaning was great overall but for some reason our room rubbish was not collected for two days and there was no sign of any cleaning , changing of towels or replenishing in the bathroom ... so I had to ask for this to be done at reception. Other than that it was a fantastic stay

The location is great and the staff fantastic. Special mention to Corina at Reception who was delightful Like a lot of smaller location hotels in Norway the rooms e small but you get what you pay for. The Nespresso coffee station is great in reception along with the breakfast Overall a great hotel

Great location
This hotel is in a central location and easy to find.The buffet breakfast is excellent, good quality food and lots of choice. The staff are very helpful. The room was quite hot at night but you can turn the radiator down. Complimentary coffee and small cakes are available in reception. I would definitely stay here again. There are several bars and restaurants nearby but it was not noisy at night,
