“No room! - after a long drive of 7 hrs and hard work we wanted to sleep in this b&b. Only for a few hours, but when we arrived all the rooms were full. After trying to reach the owner for several times he finally came. And simply said he had no room left. No excuse, no nothing. And more or less urged us to go. Where to at 8.30 p.m.? “I had the pleasure of staying at Villa des Iris at the beginning of December. For the first time after several months of traveling, I unfortunately, made a mistake in my dates and arrived unannounced and unexpected. That said, Jack and his wife were so welcoming and kind and accommodated me for 2 (vs the originally booked 1 night). I was the only one staying in the villa, but I had a very cozy and wonderful stay while I visited Bervais and Amiens.”
