At check in there was a problem with my card, the staff kept saying there was an error. I stood at the front desk in the lobby for about 40 minutes. After staff called expedia and was told they had transposed the # i finally got a room key. No apology

Good location fir getting around town

Good location have stayed here many times. It occasionally gets a bad reviw as all hotels do, but I dealt with the general manager and he was one of the more accommodating and friendly people I hav encountered. If your in the area,I suggest giving this place a try. i was more than satisfied with my entire stay and am in fact staying there again tonight!

They definitely have improved and the biggest improvement was customer service

Was very close to where I needed to be.

Pros: Close to where I needed to be and the price was right.
Cons: The front desk employee upon check-in was kinda rude.
Was a nice room clean and comfortable. However I did get charged an extra $20.00 to my credit card?

The elevator was not working. Did not seem like any repairs were going on. There was torn upholstery on a chair in the room.

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feed back. I apologize for the elevator, as It is scheduled to be repaired, parts for such a unique elevator are not readily available. Elevator Solutions is our preferred vendor and has been working with us to repair the equipment. The "gate" inside takes 6-8 weeks to fabricate, so its "on the way." I will have housekeeping look into the torn chair and have that replaced ASAP. Thank you for staying with us and we welcome you back soon

Usually good but this time not so much.

We usually stay at this hotel when taking small trips to Michigan over from Canada.... 1 because of the price and 2 the beds are amazingly comfortable... we bought a new king bed based on the hotel one. Experience this time around wasnt so good. We paid $73 cad per night and stayed Friday and Saturday whixh is good. Here is how it breaks down. Good: Pricing $73;per night on weekend night's. Bed is absolutely amazing. Never a problem there. Breakfast is small but good and usually consist of hard boiled eggs, waffles, bagels, cereals, fruits, coffee and juices. Bad: Remote didn't work for tv. They did replace it after 3 tries. Key cards kept stop working. Replaced twice. A/c and heating unit making squealing noises in middle of night.... thought we were being attacked by squirrels lol. Tv only gets about 10 to 12 channels. Bathroom smelt like it was set up as a smoking room. Didn't even want to use the shower so cannot tell you on it. I would still say as an overnight stay wouldnt be too bad due to pricing,comfort of bed and breakfast. Bit if your gonna be in your room lots, may be a different story. I would give it another try ..... and see if it's better as it was in the past..... maybe just a bad room this time around. Have stayed here about 5 -6 times previous.

Old everything even the bed spreads.

The young man at the desk was nice. He said excuse our dust we are under construction. He wasn’t kidding. But my room seemed comfortable till I looked next to me and had to kill a big cockroach on the night stand. They changed my room but our new room was smaller, dirty and old. The desk had a chunk out of it and the bed spreads were old and thin. The room looked dirty and if I wanted to call the desk to complain I could not have because my room phone did not work.

When guests do not let us know, we cant make it right. I apologize for any inconviences you may have had. When the remodel is completed the hotel will have everything new. We hope you will give us another try. Contact me at the hotel prior to your arrival and I will get you a complimentary upgrade to a whirlpool suite as a way for me " make it Right"

Over all a great stay just a few hickups

Was a great stay but the toilet was broken so had to flush manually ( by removing back tank) and it was attached to flush arm by twisty tie

Getting better but still lots room for improvement

The staff was friendly and did a good job. Bed And bedding was clean and very comfortable. Room carpet was gross, large amounts of dust and dirt. Bathroom shower only had cold water, No hot water. Hallways REEKED of weed.Gross. Lobby is being upgraded so it was a mess still.
