poor accomodation

Pros: None
Cons: One should get the room as they're promised !
Location: no comment
I was promised 2 beds, BUT was refused at the front desk of Hotel staff,as They keep Saying that we don't guarantee that, if you book through EXPEDIA ?

Mid card at best.

Cons, Shower curtain looked to have hair dye stains, no fridge, tv menu and controller was near inoperable, had to pay for working wifi. Pros, Bed was comfy, check in/out was quick, near the zoo and rich person mall.

The hotel was okay.

Well, even though there was flaws in their policy when I booked this hotel, they absolutely refuse to cooperate and love to immediately take your money. We had a decent room, but there was no microwave and you have to pay for simple wifi if you're above the first floor. The hot tub was cold, you can only fill up the bath tub halfway, and the pool was pretty small for it being a huge hotel with 17 floors. I was pretty upset and disappointed. Watch out when you book here or when you book on expedia.

Beautiful hotel

Was only there overnight extremely beautiful hotel well maintain an extremely friendly and accommodating staff. If you're just passing through or staying for a few days or more I highly recommend giving this hotel a try you will not be disappointed. Very convenient for all you may want to do in downtown Detroit.

The 80s called and wanted their decor back!

We stayed at this place because of a wedding, and we would never stay here again. The staff was belligerent - I can’t think of another way to describe it. Customer service was foreign to them. They put us up in a handicapped-accessible place, but it felt like being in a hospital. I called the front desk to complain about a missing coffeemaker - Maria got argumentative. It was one thing after another - we got back to our room at night, it had not been cleaned. Instead of an apology and some hustling I got a question - “Did you leave a ‘Do not disturb sign’ out. Really. I mean really??? It's midnight, I paid $200/night and I have to justify myself? Would not go back.

Not the best, and watch your bill.

Location is convenient, except it's quite a long walk from the parking area behind the building to the checkout in the front. You have to either go through the parking structure, or walk around the side. Both feel unsafe at night. We had a second floor room, and we heard a lot of noise. Voices (you could clearly hear conversation), closing doors, etc. We stayed one night, so we were barely in the room and didn't use any of the services. The beds were just okay, but the bathroom was nice. Since our stay, my credit card was charged $25 more than I signed for. When I called the hotel, they said it was an "incidentals fee" that should be removed. If you're going to charge extra to someone's card, regardless of whether or not you plan on removing the charge, you should let the person know first. I was never told about this. A random $5 charge was put on my card the next day, and when I called, they said I was charged for a bottle of Fiji water that was in the room. I didn't touch this water bottle, seeing the $5 tag on it and laughing at that price. Speaking of which, I've been to other hotels that have had free bottled water in the room so I'm shocked that they would only offer one bottle at a $5 charge. Anyway, this hotel was definitely a sub par stay, and I've had anxiety ever since about the charges they've been putting on my credit card. If you stay here, watch your credit card account carefully so they don't nickel and dime you.
